I've had a creak that sounded like the bb...but it was a loose screw on the luggage rack.
Tighten and lube all the things first before PANIC?

You're certain it's not the BB? Even putting pressure on the saddle could be going down the tube. I've had a couple creaking bb issues, nothing a bearing/lube/service didn't fix.
It could also just be the saddle. I had horrible creaks from one or another saddle. Try removing it, and pushing the center of the saddle, and pulling and pinching together the rails. Once you know it's not the saddle, it's trial and error through all the other parts.

I'd like to try sewing my own bags for the bikepacking thing.
Anybody know of a stockist for lightweight waterproof material?
Ideally a not-white colour, preferably black but others okay. Must be waterproof, durable, cheap, super cheap, possibly free.
(....should I just buy blue tarp from poundland?)

Does anyone know if stem cross sections are different between Zipp Service Course and the SL? I bought the cheap one for a steel bike and it's well chunky and a squarish section. I would like a round thin cross section. Thank you!

Point north/profabrics have plenty of stuff.
Possibly not worth getting waterproof fabric, if you're not sealing/welding seams anyway...

I got webbing and buckles from Kleins in Noel St W1, it was a while ago but they probably still sell that kind of thing

I have weak wifi signal in the bedroom of my flat. My phone/ipad/laptop can pick up the wifi network but it's unusably slow. The router is in an alcove cabinet under the TV in the living room at the front of the house. The bedroom is at the back of the house and is up a few steps ~ 1m elevation. The wifi signal currently has to battle its way through the TV interference, through the chimney breast and then through 2 external walls (across the side return) to get to the bedroom. I can't move the router. What is my best option for getting wifi to the bedroom - range extender or homeplug?

I found finding these a real arse. I bought one of these http://www.backpackinglight.co.uk/pack-accessories/UA237.html which worked fine but it's probably easier just to make them.

thanks, is it just a shop or would they also have the stuff to make them into what I needed?

Check planetx for buckles, and ebay for webbing from athena trading. I have a load and I'm in London on Saturday if you want a bit, not sure what the cost of materials is, probably £2 or £3

I have a drive side crank which I want to find a partner for. The arm I have needs a 109mm bb, iso taper. When looking for one to use on the nds, does it matter about what the proper axle length the crank requires? As it isn't involved with the chainline I'm assuming it doesn't matter as long as it is reasonable similar and the taper is the same?

So long as it is the same length as the DS and clears the NDS chainstay.
Yeah I meant for lean angle. So those Scudgood ones could be the best of both worlds?
