Cut down some cheap adult bars?

That's only thing I could think off :)
Maybe a bit wide for tiny hands?

I had this issue too.
Cue much huffing and humming and changing VPNs to try and find one not affected but no joy. I think we'll just need to wait till they figure out a way around it, or Netflix figures out its haemorrhaging users, general chat is that all VPNs are affected.

May be worth poking around spare parts for brands like Frog / Isla Bike for options. My 3 1/2 y/o son's Frog 43 has some nice riser bars and some Tektro levers that work for his hands. I imagine they would fit the bill for your needs as well.

Tx! That may work.
They both don't seem to do handlebars, but at least I can get grips/levers. Evans may be able to help too.

Is this carbon rim fecked? They're enve 35mm, they were on my road bike so when I noticed that chip I removed them but have never thrown them away. As the damage appears to only be to the brake track, might they be useable as rims on disc wheels? Is the brake track structural on carbon rims?

Email Enve (support@enve.com) and see what they say?

Try a local dealer and see if they are willing to source parts for you. It's a grey area so they may not. Better if your LBS is a dealer as they would be more likely to do you a favour.

None here, I e-mailed Evans and if no joy perhaps CRC has bits and bobs I can get my hands on :)

Is the brake track structural on carbon rims?
On a clincher rim, it's the part of the structure which tries to keep the tyre pressure from blowing the rim apart.

Have you been in touch with Isla?
I've bought spares from them, that aren't actually listed on their website.

If I remove the anodising from a swiss army knife (like the one below) will I do anything more to it other than remove the anodising? Are there any parts inside it that will dissolve/get ruined?
-
• #74966
Ah I didn't know, not yet. Waiting on Evans to get back to me. Tx.

The fresh aluminium surface will form its own oxidation barrier and be fine.
The blades are all stainless and so will be fine (ref), but the spacers between the blades are aluminium (ref) so will object violently (literally) to the hydroxide mixture you'll need to remove the anodising. The brass pivots will probably be ok, but only because the aluminium will be taking all the heat! There's some more information here if you're interested. The alternative is an abrasive, but that'll ruin the texture and logo. Not to mention that aluminium oxide is very hard and so you'd use lots of abrasive to make it work!

Best long reach black rear caliper brake?
-
• #74969
How long?
Shimano R650 is good, but can only find in silver.
Tektro have a number in black of varying reaches, R539 and R559 will be fine. -

mine in silver cost about £15....

Does the UK Government seize funds in UK bank accounts after the account has not had any activity after a certain period of time? Just wondering, as I have a small "holiday" amount sitting in my UK account while I'm in Australia.
Australia has a law where the government seizes the funds after the account has been dormant for three or more years. It destroyed many a pensioners savings fund, farmer drought funds etc and apparently it was a right ball-ache to get it back.
-
• #74973
No. But banks can sign up to a scheme where they pay money from dormant accounts to the government for them to look after.

Go Australia!
You'd think the banks would be pissed, given that they've effectively packaged that money up and loaned it out in the form of a mortgage or whatever.
