Is this a campag headset? Came on a frame I bought from the Bay and descriptions was campagnolo headset and bb. No marks or branding visible. I'll pop it off this weekend but looks like a generic early 80s or late 70s to me.

It's not even a close copy of a Campag headset

Boring OT work question: anyone know of a decent cheap small meeting space for hire near Vauxhall?
-
• #74355
The Vauxhall Griffin? Or too informal, good pizza though. I think they have a private room
There are a few places in St Georges Wharf, smartish (but soulless) new build gastro pub on the river, 2 minute walk from tube
@mdcc_tester Cheers tester - thought that might be the case. Have PM'd seller and so seems happy to rectify

Where/how can I download a rom to upgrade my Huawei Y550-L01 from Kitkat to Lollipop?
The only links I find seem dodgy, and also require me to try to win a Costa gift card before I'm allowed to download (reeks of dodge).

Anyone bought any travel money online recently?
I know the answer might be 'boring' but how was it?
-

No idea how cheap it is, but Beaconsfield is close by and has nice food.

Winter frame being powderglooped for durability, I know it's a sin! New decals on their way and rattlecan clearcoat at the ready to seal the decals on the frame. But, how many coats?
-
• #74361
@Colin_the_Bald It depends on whether the powder coat is going to come out glossier or duller than the clear coat will be. If it is a perfect match then just a couple of coats would do but if it looks odd you will have to do two coats on the whole frame. Make sure your paint and the frame are a nice room temperature and it can remain in that environment to dry. Clear coat is almost foolproof to use in the right conditions.

Thank you, that helps a lot, the frame will be high gloss so should be no problem. It needs to be pointed out that the clearcoat actually has to be within the skillset of an utter cretin......

North Korea getting a viable nuclear arsenal with long-range delivery systems. Why do you ask?

It won't worry you with your nuclear winter frame will it?

Is it possible to get a 3 speed sturmey archer with a coaster brake for a 120mm OLD?

Looks like the AWC (II) is 116 OLD, that'll be close enough to make work.

My page wasn't loading fully, now it is scrolling all the way. Cheers SO

S-RC3 (II) is also 116.

I think there is just a bunch of PDFs, some shared between a few different variants.

Cassettes, fixed and rotary all have a different PDF.

Definitely will work with 120.
Definitely stay away from anything 1980s (the end of Brit era) and modern (Taiwanese era).
Get an old SA or an old F&S one.
I got an single coaster from this guy, highly recommended.

@withered_preacher Do you not rate the modern offerings?
Ah F&S made the OG auto shifters right?
modern Shiamano vs SRAM vs SA?
Where are the views?
-
• #74375
No, I had a terrible experience with new SA (specifically the two speed kick back).
F&S made the auto shifter and a much better kick back.
Of the modern stuff I'd say Shimano is the one to get, but I've no experience with the new SRAM.
Here's a site that has tons of info on hub gears, though sadly no longer updated.

PD-M540 for about the same price seems like a no-brainer
