So really it's Conti GP4S or bust? I'm looking at the 'buying guides' and that's always the top, unless you go Mich Pro4Grip or Vredestein alternatives.

Having actually tidied my flat the other day I thought it was time to replace the tupperwares containing my change and other random pocket crap with something a bit more stylish. Thinking maybe something like this but without the Aspinall's price tag. Any suggestions?

If those are stylish, then I'm happy to be unfashionable.

Cheers, I've posted on the leather works thread.
Not necessarily looking for leather ones if anyone else has suggestions for containers to dump my crap in on top of my chest of drawers

I bought a 18650 Ultrafire battery from eBay to replace the OE Lezyne one in my Powerdrive front lamp. It's rated at 3000mAh where as the original was 2400. Voltage rating is same. The new one barely lasts 30mins, why so short, wattage too high?

defective battery
how long does your existing unit last? if it's longer than 30 mins then nothing wrong with existing circuitry and confirms 'shooting from hip' response

From reading around this there are a lot of fakes out there. A lot seem to come from old laptop batteries http://www.torchythebatteryboy.com/p/18650-batteries-chargers.html. Ultrafire don't have a great reputation.

Thanks for this, useful reading. Based on their findings I took the wrap off the battery, disappointed to find it looks new rather than some battered old second thing. Will try another brand!

Anyone work in post production?
@bashthebox you might have an idea...
I have 5 commercials that have been delivered to me by an editor who has now buggered off. I've paid him but the files aren't quite to spec (they're not R128 compliant and have a loudness of -20.6LUFS instead of -23 -/+0.5).
I have access to the timelines in Premiere Pro and have tried using Loudness Radar to fix but with no success so far.
I've tried running through Adobe Audition but still export through Premiere which isn't working.
Lastly I've downloaded a bit of software called eFF which promises to do it but I can't figure out how to work it.
Anyone have any experience of it? There's no budget for another editor to fix the last one's mess so I suspect it'll be a valid walkthrough for Loudness Radar in Premiere, getting Audition to work (I followed a walkthrough on YouTube to the letter but still no joy) or eFF/other third party (free/trial) software.
Any help appreciated as I need these signed off by tomorrow evening.
Deep tread (or knobblies) is/are more useful on mud or leaves as the tyre has more chance to push through the slippery stuff and get to the solid ground below. But it's a trade off as they'll leave you less grip on normal road surfaces compared to slicks.
Shallow tread will, if anything, be worse than slicks. Less grip on clear road and no chance to bite through the slippery stuff.
