The bog standard yellow etrex models save a track log of where you have been.
The reasoning behind this is that the trackback feature allows you to return to your start position.Look on ebay for a second hand one.
I use my etrex to log my rides using the "save active log feature" and then upload the gpx file to mapsource etc.

Half price* socket set from Halfords Pro range comes with lifetime guarantee.
*but still not that cheap
Ordered one of these sets last week, arrived yesterday. Totally chuffed, fantastic quality and comprehensive socket and spanner set and a total bargain imo.*
Thanks for the tip.
*lifetime guarantee excludes mechanism inside the wrenches.

Specifically is it worth twice what all the other stuff costs?

No. Holes are to let corrosive sweat through to susceptible bars to corrode and precipitate failure at crucial high-stress moment.

Will fairy liquid screw up the rubber of my tyres?
-
• #7089
Let's hope not, if it does your Marigolds are going to be fucked too.
-
• #7090
It wouldn't be my first choice as a tyre mounting lubricant, if that's what you're considering
-
• #7091
Well, I was cleaning my bike the other day* and I got fairy liquid on the tyres. a few weeks later, the rubber started flaking off in places. It was very strange and the only link I could make was the fairy liquid.

I was wearing my Polar watch on the 'plane the other day (it's the only watch I have), and it was picking up a heart rate (85 - 95 BPM, if you're interested).
Who the fuck wears an HRM on a airplane?
Some fat sweaty get presumably?
New.
