Developed a technique with spacers between the clamp which then rattles but gets tightened once the bag is slammed on.

Should work fine, we had customer bike with that and got it to bite exactly.
Bear in mind that those brakes modulated exactly like MTB hydraulic, long throw, but a much bigger bite.
Easier to just get those Tiagra shifter and rear derailleur which can be had for cheap.

Front throw feels perfect with the travel agent on the fork, think easiest is to fit a travel agent for the rear but I want to fit it inline in front of the headtube and out of the muck. What can I use as a junction for between the exit of this and the cable housing?

Why...are you using a travel agent?

I had it installed for the BB7 and thought I would check the HY rd before removing it. It works wonders for road levers.
Basically now my front brake (with TA) modulates then bites solid about 60% in ... The rear lever without TA pulls so far that the gear paddle gets in the way before it locks up.

It converts to V-brake [linear] pull, no? When paired with a road brake - like a BB7 road - you'd be exchanging mechanical advantage for cable travel, meaning that you can be sloppier with pad and rotor set-up, but your brakes should lack ummmph. Unless you were using an MTB BB7, in which case fair enough.
BTW try adjusting the leaver angle so that the paddle slides around the bar. I think I've had every version of SRAM's leavers on road cable disc brakes and I've never had the issue you describe.

Can you still buy a traditional pay as you go sim, wherein I top up £10 and that lasts forever (or at least a long time)?
My phone can take two sim cards and I may as well as make use of this, given giff gaffs occasional data outages and poor rural coverage.

Have you bedded in the brakes? (heavy squeeze of the levers).

Yes, as long as you actually use it occasionally. I had an O2 one which got disconnected through lack of use a few years ago, so I now schedule one outgoing call from my PAYG phone each month to keep it alive. A two second call to my house phone does the trick.

I've rotated the bars around forward and moved the levers up and angled in slightly, paddle just brushes the tape now, I think should work ok though. Also realised that the reach wasn't fully extended on the levers so have dialled that out to give more room to pull.

Me Julie has HY/RD's with Apex levers, work fine - with boggo cables.

Same as were on my Boardman.

Boggo
Australian slang word used to describe a dero (derro) or a tramp. Someone who is a bum from the dregs of society and is generally an unpleasant person. -

Great, I assume most of the big networks still sell them, they just don't advertise it on their websites.

Best porteur rack for use without fork eyelets? I've been trying to find someone stocking the Soma Porteur outside the US, but as with most Soma stuff, stock is minimal and hard to find.
Any links to cheap Soma or other similar products would be appreciated.

• #66395
Nope, boggo as in bog-standard

Gamoh Porteur come with adaptor.

Really? I never see it mentioned in the descriptions anywhere.

What they seem to advertise these days is a package of included calls/texts/data you can get on PAYG by always topping up a certain minimum amount per month. If you don't do any top ups, you just miss out on any of those bundles, so you literally PAYG for everything at quite high rates. That's fine for me as my PAYG is my jersey pocket phone, it's only there for emergencies, but if you start using it regularly to fill holes in your main SIM coverage, you're likely to find a cheap SIM-only contract soon starts to look better value.

Yes, I bought an orange one a while ago to take advantage of Orange Wednesdays. Tends to be that the Sim is free but you need to top up a tenner or something at the same time. I think it's something like six months that the credit lasts for with no activity.
I got it from PC World.

Can anyone recommend a pilates class in London - especially interested in physio led classes or instructors with a knowledge of cycling? Thanks.
No. Just buy a proper hydraulic set up
