Fairly big then, don't think a new fork is worthwhile.

I have just gone to book a skiing holiday for the family in Slovakia via Mountain Paradise. Although they get mentioned in the press quite a lot, I can find no independent reviews.
Can't you do an independent review of your family yourself? :)

On which thread in the last week was someone recommending some skintight rubberised high calf overshoes which could be had from America for about 15 quid?

For my daily fixie, I'm looking for bike lights, just to be seen, not to see with. I'm looking but I can't find any that I like. I want lights that are small, LED, bolted on and not super expensive. I'm also looking for a bit minimal looking (but not expensive) chain guard. Any tips?

Why bolted on? Small and light usually means easily removable - put it in your pocket and there's less chance of someone coming along and either taking it or doing some random damage.

have kept packets and packaging from internet purchases, but yet to reuse these and perhaps never will, so any ideas about who might wanna re-use them instead?!
would rather pass them on for reuse, rather than throwing them away into the uncertain world of recycling;

Start re-selling said purchases.
You know it's gonna happen eventually. -

does anyone have a link to the cp thread where someone on here built a sscx bike with discs using a chinese carbon frame (I think it was soul?)

There is a light thread. Perhaps read that?
I think Spa Cycles have some chain guards on their site.

I'm trying to work out the name of an American TV series that Channel 4 used to show about a blonde girl living in a small town in America where something happened (a nuclear thing or a lightning storm or something) and then lots of paranormal stuff happened. Called something like the Freaky World of Annie Mac or something except it definitely wasn't that and I can't remember what she was called. Any ideas?

No worries, I have an urge to find the into music now.
Same tyres/wheels will get you 1° steeper HT - trail all good no matter what rake you are having on the forks (<50mm).
