  • I could be sitting eating it for dinner accompanied by some seasonal veg and a nice red wine jus and then let out an evil laugh and say ''who's the saucy cunt now, eh?''

  • just think of their cute little faces. you monster...

  • oh wait. nvm

  • I could just take the French approach to that moral conundrum by drowning the kids in brandy whilst their dismayed parents are forced to watch, then flambé them and eat them whole.

  • Question on studying -

I am interested in doing a part time degree. I want to do it in London but i want to do a bridging or foundation course first. What are my options? I am thinking Maths. My problem is i havent done any maths in 10 years so need to build up confidence.

Where should I look for foundation/bridge courses in maths?

  • I can't point you to particular courses in London but I know some Uni's up here do them as pre-engineering courses designed to let you enter the second year of a degree if for example, you haven't got the required grades at A level-I know Strathclyde has one that runs Jan to August.

There's also the Open University which does engineering/maths courses by distance learning.

  • My new(used) Salsa Juan Solo needs a 1 1/8th external threadless headset. I believe the spec is EC34/30.

I have an FSA Orbit MX on the shelf, but it's white, and the frame is black and grey. Forks are black/carbon.

    What headset should I buy?
    Budget £25?
    Lightweight
    Decent seals
    black, grey, silver or red
    Tester approved...? ;-)

Try UCAS and be patient with their search engine - especially the bit about "leaving a field unselected will return all courses"...

  • cheers guys

    much help

  • it says that A foundation degree is a degree level qualification which combines academic study with work place learning.

I guess then thats not what i am looking for... I need something that will 'get me up to speed' for a first year type course. Whats that called?

  • To the Hx/1 for values of x = 10,25,30,50

    Smarty pants

  • I'm trying to remember the name of a band I saw on telly a few years back - the lead singer looks a little like Chiwetel Ejiofor, and sometimes sings in a falsetto.

  • J12 is the wonderful village of Theale where I lived until I was 18, you can just about see my house from the bypass, my dad still lives there. You might be able to see the room I lost my virginity in. If you drive through the village you'll drive down the high street where the borrowers was filmed and I met John Goodman as a child, you'll pass the paper shop that I delivered papers for and a shop on the right that used to be a bike shop that I spent a lot of time in but is now an estate agents or some shit. Carry on down the road and you'll pass the church where we used to smoke weed when in was wet and then my primary school. Further down is a road called Lambfields next to my secondary school where we used to smoke cigs at breaks. You'll then leave the village and rejoin the bath road and pass the spring inn on the left where I used to work and then see the quaint village of Midgham where my ex used to live and I spent a lot of time drinking as a 16/17 year old with friends, I think Scherrit might live here now. Then you'll come to Thatcham where I worked as a lifeguard for a while and then Newbury. How you could turn down this tour of my formative years I just don't know.

I'm not sure if I've been there before but I might be making a trip through there on Sunday after the race. Maybe you could hide some beer in all these places and create the snottyotter easter egg hunt..

  • I rarely go there anymore as it's shit.

  • I did an Open university course to build my confidence before going back to school. Level 1 module.
    Would recommend x

Could be BTEC level 3? You'll have to check - I've been retired for a few years and things change...

They're my best guesses at black guys who front bands who might have been big enough to get on telly a few years ago!

  • That Crank Bros headset is one of the shittest I've ever owned. Water gets into the bearings really easy, bearing seals shit, rusty rusty, totally fucks everything up.

  • You know those cyclist stay back stickers? I'm sure I saw a cyclists stay cool parody sticker. Where can I get one of those from?

  • Q

I think that was it. Shame. I'd rock a Cyclist Stay Cool on my white van.
