Loads on ebay.es in the €250 to €300 range, it's probably going to cost half that to ship a complete bike.

  • why does the Flite point down so much? My silver seatpost doesn't have enough room for maneuver on the clamp, so got to use my shit spare black one and even that is at the limit.
Does anyone know is Campag chorus carbon seatpost clamps have much maneuverability?

  • why does the Flite point down so much?

It's an old school saddle, it needs an old school seatpost. All these SLRs and Ariones with long horizontal rails are a modern affectation.

  • but why even make it point down so far? It's nice, I just don't see the point.
And it's my modern seatpost which fits it.

  • but why even make it point down so far?

Shorter, straighter rails for the weight weenies.

  • I have no bosses on my track frame (understandable). I'm never going to race it down the track. I use it for cycling to work and getting out into the country. Rocket launchers from the saddle do not hold bottles.

Should I get the frame drilled for bosses? And where?

You'll probably have to get threaded inserts rivited in. Which is less than ideal. I could be wrong though.

Why not just get a clamp-on bottle cage?
