  • A stuffed owl with glowing eyes?

  • Considering tub glue on all surfaces

So that they get stuck there, cheeping hysterically at all hours until they eventually die? Have you gone quite mad?

  • some kind of electronic bird botherer
    Filth.

  • Shit in their nest, it's the only way they'll learn.

  • Re the spider bite; you want to reduce inflammation so it does not get infected; some anti histamines and Ibruprofen were given to me by the GP for this purpose. Mine still got infected though and then needed antibiotics.....

  • So that they get stuck there, cheeping hysterically at all hours until they eventually die? Have you gone quite mad?

Again, as a warning to others

Actually they'll probably chew off their feet and fly away

If they don't...pigey foie gras anyone?

  • A stuffed a owl with glowing eyes?

    .

  • Given they seem barely bothered by my presence a stuffed and immobile predator probably won't fluster them for long.

Can I have a real owl pls?

  • Pigeons are awesome. Install a nest camera, stream it on-line.

You're talking about eight weeks at maximum.

Once they're gone, secure the gap where they have built a nest if you don't want a repeat, if you haven't grown to like them by then through knowing them better.

  • Dammit Schick you are making me waver towards the good side. Pigeons are definately not awesome though. Unless you like shit that acts as painstripper

Given that I've squished many aphids already today quite why two pigeon killings are going to cost me sleep I don't know.

But I shall not kill the small defenseless birds. Today.

  • Kill the parents, raise the children as your own. Then train them to do stuff like sh!t on other peoples cars, warn people about the approach of police, deliver messages etc...

  • A hawkcat that fires lazers from its eyes

    Pew pew pew

  • Anyone got a set of honjo fenders spare? Gf was going to buy me a pair from Kinoko sale for my bday but it turned out they don't update their website with stocking levels.... Looking for the 700c 28-35 size.... Long shot I know but would love them for the Hetchins.

  • Nice route from west london down to bath?

  • Who fackin' wants some??

  • ^ If Bahn Mi, yes please!

  • ^ I'll take two, don't hold back on the chilli.

  • How sensible would it be to get some disc tabs brazed onto my IROs steel fork?
i don't mind some extra gussetting on there to strengthen it, but am I asking for trouble?

  • Probably. The brake forces on discs affect the fork very differently from rim brakes, so it's best to get a fork that is specifically designed for use with discs.

For the cost of brazing, you could probably get a pair of On-One Pompetamine disc forks.

  • I need some new pads for my V brakes. What's usually recommended as the best value for money?

It's for a folder (20" Wheels) if that makes any difference...

  • I want a plaque like this for my lathe.

Any idea where I can get one made? I've given up searching for a proper one, but haven't had much luck at finding a supplier of reproductions of such things. Everything I find seems to be cheap etched stuff suitable for nameplates/trophies/signage.

I used to use clarks, they're really cheap at sub £5 for pair of brake pads and spare cartridges and fairly stoppy and hard wearing.

sensible enough. forks should probably take it fine, but maybe not. consider costs of mod and the risks vs cost of new forks.
