I thought this a useful and interesting article about handlebars and shapes to link here but not sure where is best to leave it...unless of course it is repost.

tester can you possibly link me to the cycling magazine article on 10 speed chains,
the one in which a shimano 105 model came out all round topNo, because I've never seen it.
If you want to buy a CN-5701, just do it without relying on somebody else's justification, it's less than £15 so you aren't making an expensive mistake.

System-Ex are made by Kalloy, also rebranded as various other things. I like the SP-248 (see above) for most purposes - it's not light, but it's cheap, pretty, stays where you put it and doesn't have ratchet points. Beware of some other Kalloy models with Laprade type indexed adjustment, your preferred position will always be halfway between two of the possible positions.

£110 - worth it?
Are front sus forks easily sourced?
-
• #51915
Also with a 17.5" frame c-c would it suit myself at 5ft10"?
-
• #51916
overpriced at £110.
have a look on retrobike. -
• #51917
You'll struggle to find suspension forks with a low enough a2c to not completely fuck the handling, and if you do find some they won't be worth using.

and its unlikely theyll be 1" threaded.

Panniers: what shops in London have a large selection for me to look at today?
-
• #51922
Condor have a nice range of Ortieb and Carradice (AFAIK) and any large Evans/Cyclesurgery have a range of cheaper one (like Endura, Altura etc.).

Any ideas where I can get one of these from the UK (or Far East, etc with cheap shipping). http://www.pchcables.com/3stpltoplmam.html
Ebay are only bringing up US sellers with shipping about a tenner and nowhere in the UK seems to sell them.

Why is it that when I look at my activity on Facebook it has me logged in in Uckfield rather than SE4, or even London?
I logged out changed password just in case but still Uckfield???
