Stack of dimes/coins welding is not that hard with tig, I can get that finish without issue, tig is easier in my experience than stick (arc/mma) which is easier than oxy acetylene as you need to get the nozzle size right and well as the right size of filler rod.

If I go to Selfridges now will it be like my morning commute: empty of traffic and relaxing, or will it be like my last trip to ASDA on the OKR: hell on earth, every man for himself?

Is Selfridges ever not hell on earth?

What's the best Black Dog/Plaid album?
Srs Q
-
• #5133
Bytes, fucking amazing
People like Bukem and Photek still cite it as a huge influence.
Covers all the bases from detroit techno to downtempo and proto jungle, so weirdly a near blueprint for dubstep as well.
Was never so keen on Black Dog after Ed and Andy left.
Plaid are also awesome, there was the collection of their work (I think peacefrog) which had all the essentials such as Scoobs in Columbia and more.

electrolytic rust removal: does it work for frames? does it fuck the paint badly?
thank you -
• #5135
Yeah, Bytes, on reflecion it's obvious. Was the first one I got, was underwelmed in comparison by most of their later stuff. Getting a CD for my cousin you see. I never quite felt it with plaid, not a full album anyway.
Cheers

Neu
First few albums are good, the reissue compilation on Soma is strong too
It went downhill around music for adverts when the Plaid boys left.

Its an online archive of scanned academic books/texts, that encompasses one of those lovely "grey" areas of legality (everytime they get sue'd they set up again with an extra A, hence the 5 A's)
You have to sign up to get access to the archive, and if they dont have what you're looking for, you can request stuff on their forums. its a truly awesome academic resource.

I've read the one chapter I really needed through a combination of google books (which has pages missing) and amazong books (which limits the number of pages you can view). Bit of a pain, but when you can't be bothered to go to a library....

Is Selfridges ever not hell on earth?
I had never been before today. You got it right, while I was there I got the impression that it was exactly the way it always is, hell on earth. But if you want to buy Grits on Christmas Eve then you don't have a lot of options....
