Email Ryan at Oak. Not sure how much but he straightened my bent forks for £30

Ordering a cap and bottle from GSC, anyone want anything and split shipping?

What is the stiffest stem I can get for circa £100 for track bike? Need 140mm, oversize, 1 1/8th clamp, 10 degree rise.
-
• #45162
Spend less, get more stiffness. Cheaper stems are usually made of more metal. 140mm requirement eliminates a lot of options though, and +10° knocks the obvious Pro Vibe 7S out of the running.
Deda Zero 100 in 140mm × 8° close enough? Under £50, so you can send the other £50 to me if you insist on spending £100.

^^^ Have you check the P&P?
-
• #45164
Thats why i was asking if anyone wanted to split it ^ dont really want to pay it on my own
-
• #45165
I was hoping to spend less (just would have considered up to £100 if there was a standout option).
I guess you can't run the pro vibe stem positive?
-
• #45166
I would look weird even with the old 4-bolt one, the current puzzle-clamp one would look even worse. I doubt there's much difference in stiffness between the Pro Vibe and the Deda Zero 100 anyway, and the Deda is cheaper. Going from +10° to +8° requires the addition of a 5mm spacer under the stem, which I suppose could be a problem if you absolutely have to keep your bars at the current height and the steerer is cut short, although that depends on the stack height of the current stem.

Some speedo's I have used have relied on elastic bands to hold bits in place.
I think that's how most Speedos work.

• #45172
I have steerer to play with, so can add 5mm spacer.

Random but important question? How can I find a U.S. licensed doctor in London to do an eye test for me?
I need to renew my U.S. drivers license, but they wont let me until I have an eye test done by a doctor with a U.S. license.
I don't have any plans to go back home at the moment and wont be for a while. Anyone know an American doctor in London? Any ideas?

Whut? That's odd. Have you poked around the US Embassy site?

I've got a gear cable end stuck in a Campag Centaur Ergo lever. I think a season of very muddy cyclocross has done for it and it's seized in. I've tried some Plus Gas but with no success. Does anyone have any experience of something similar and, if so, how did you get it out?
This.
