  • also are these aliums tension adjustable or are all aliums not

  • those old Aliums are fine for riding fixed. If you can give them a once over just check the springs aren't loose, chances are they're fine. So if you're buying online just go for it.

  • ah those are the same aliums that just exploded when spotter was riding on them?

  • THRILLING BATTERY UPDATE:

    • Charger indicated a full battery
    • Used a glue gun to seal the broken insulation
    • Plugged it into bike
    • Bike showed "half charge"
    • Plugged battery back into charger- started charging at once

The last time I took it off the charger and connected it back onto the bike the Di2 system reported a full charge, so the difference here is the addition of the glue.

I think, anyway- correlation and causation being often mistaken for one another.

Anyone actually know anything about this sort of thing?

  • You used high drain glue, didn't you.

  • Sniff the glue.

  • Smell the glove.

  • Jump the shark

  • Or the microwave.

Must spread rep, you Funny Sausage™

try and find pictures of the monstrosity that Braker designed and had built, it may give you some idea of the folly of novices set loose on bike cad

  • Hehe I was gonna go for fat tubing anyway but to me anything over 50mm sounds too much.

Did want a second opinion though.

    Where?

    Thanks tester.
You get rep if I have may left.

  • anything over 50mm sounds too much.

Anything over 45mm will need squashing where it joins the head tube and BB shell.

  • ^Again, the sorta stuff I need to know.

  • But please do not announce positive/negative rep every.fucking.time though. Thanks.

First time for me, I think.

Indra, how can you speak of aluminium tubing when we're on this page?

  • *Waits to find last post on page 854.

  • Mielec don't work with steel :)

  • Well then, save your aluminium questions until we reach a more appropriate page somewhere around 6,000 or 7,000.
