You don't lose quality, but it doesn't create 7MP of extra quality either. (Although, it will result in 7MP of extra file size). It's the same as digital zoom. i.e. pointless.
No, it's not.

Yes

thanks, no need to scour ebay any longer, does it make any more noise or anything? or increased wear?
-
• #3510
Not really. Get the chain line right, and everything else in the noise/wear equation becomes trivial.

outdoor bike storage. the bomb shelter we have been using in our back garden is leaking somewhere.
i don't really want to leave the bikes out there for much longer.
back garden. only neighbouring gardens around us. if you want to get into it, you come through the house or climb over next doors fence.where are those metal container type sheds from?
are there any other recommendations? (tarpaulin etc is not a goer) -

Sounds like you have reached the apogee of every mans life- the point at which you build your own shed.
-
• #3519
I'd need few of them. Ouch, pricey!

EEI, you're doing it wrong.
Bikes go in house.
Kids go in garden. -

i'd have to knock the bomb shelter down first. i do not think the landlord would want that.
(thanks MDCC)

I've kept a model that I built for my Architecture degree, it was for a low environmental impact structure sited in a salt marsh.
It also happens to be a perfect scale model of the Ur-Shed that I will one day build for myself.
I shall then christen her the HMS Misanthrope.
