Look like they are Bora/Nucleon/Shamal hubs on Proton rims- is that likely/possible?
Or Electrons, but from a swift Google they are meant to be annodized black and these are not:

Last week my brother's website came under attack from a couple of kids running script bots. I checked that my crappy code from 2005 hadn't folded under the attack (apparently not but I think this was more luck than skillz) then contacted 1&1 to let them know what had happened and ask them if they had the option of enabling mod_security on their servers to help protect against any further attempts.
Their response was to, variously, ask me what mod_security is, tell me that their servers were protected with the php safe mode option, and then tell me I could switch on any php modules I liked using htaccess.
Consequently I've advised my bro that it might be an idea to move his site to a webhost that has some idea of wtf they are doing. Who can recommend a webhost? His site isn't massive but does run a php app that uploads & stores files for users. He's currently on 1&1's business package at a tenner a month and will prefer something around the same price.

Include jargon to get past first-line support.
-
• #26455
They've always been very good in the past, but I've spoken to two separate support guys now and neither of them have been able to grasp the nature of what I'm saying - and I've been (to my mind, anyway), very specific, both about the exploits and what they can do to help protect things. They're not running Apache with mod_security on, that much is clear. I'm not even going to bother asking them about Suhosin.
I'm certainly not wedded to a specific webhost - I'll use any host that fits my needs at the time, and 1&1s crappy response to brute force attacks means they're not really meeting ours anymore. :/
^ I included all kinds of jargon! They didn't even read it, by the look of the response.

I've set up a dedicated server on 1&1 for a forum in the past and that one had Suhosin enabled by default. I expect they've got a newer standard OS build now, who knows?
It should be listed in phpinfo() output.

I'll never persuade him to fork out more dorrah for a dedicated server. He's Scottish, you know.

Get your own VPS and share the cost between a few sites?
-
• #26459
Hm, that is an option. Might be cheaper overall.

These Gazelle branded wheels (rims and tyres, hubs are campag centaur or the like) appear to have tubular tyres
the rim itself though isn't shaped like a normal tub rim. It seems to have a very slim inner lip with a more box section shape.
I guess they are cyclocross type wheels, being Gazelle/Centaur
question is are they meant for tub AND clincher? Is that possible?

Been searching high and low but cannot find the name of the chap who repairs carbon frames in London. So far the best i have come up with is the guys up in Norwich.
Anyone got any leads on carbon frame repair in London's famous London?

Blackfriars bridge northbound in the mornings. You get a warning that the light's about to go green, as the southbound CS7 have a dedicated light phase.

I found mine frustrating because it wouldn't hold going over bumps. Over the course of a ride I'd lose the big ring, have to stop and adjust. Operator error though, once I had things set up proper it ceased to be a problem.

no idea, they were on the bike when I bought it.
Look like that. -

Just found out an artist has been using my images on her website. I took screenshots, and asked them about it. They have ignored me, but have taken the images off her website. How do I access a cashed version of this to show that they were there?
Cheers
Edit: found it. cache:url/ unfortunately it doesn't go back far enough.

What brand did you have?
I used the Jagwire ones with iLinks, as standard adjusters just rotate uselessly.

Have you tried the Wayback Machine? It doesn't sample too often, but can go back years. If your pics have been up a while on there you may be able to find them

Right, I need a compact cranks, a very compact cranks.
the standard is 50/34, but I like to be able to have a 30t inner that are readily available, especially with a 48t big ring.
A lots of the compact cranks I see doesn't look it can go lower than 34t in the inside.

What about a 50/40/30 triple and sell the 40T and 50T and buy a 48 for the middle? It's a big jump for the FD to handle. Possibly too big.
What about a bastardized MTB/Apex cassette instead of the 30 front? I can't imagine there's much that can't be handled by 34-32

I thought most MTB cranks are 22 at the bottom and 48ish at the top...

They tend to go in 10T jumps, so there's 22-32-42 or 28-38-48 options.

Not necessary; 50/28
Using an MTB FD, but would like a road one with a narrow q-factor like the White Industries, I can't afford the WI again for some time yet, and find the 50/34 a little too big.

that's a solution I've thought of, while the 11-32 offer a very large range, the jump between each cog remain rather large* whether the 12-25 have a straight 12-13-14-15-16-17t block (till 19-25).
*11-13-15-17-19
My other bike have a nice 46/30t crankset paired with a 13-24t freewheel (with a 14-28t freewheel option for touring), I find that perfect.

To rescue a Word document that has been locked,
*Open press F11 while holding down shift and alt (Alt-Shift-F11). to launch the script editor in Word with the file opened
*Select the find option (or hit ctl-f), and run a find for the word "password." This should highlight something liket his"32943208";
*Remove the letters and numbers between the tags
*Apply the changes made in the document in the script editor and close the window.
*On the "Tools" pulldown menu, select "unprotect" Your document should now be unprotected. From here http://forums.techarena.in/ms-office-support/894654.htm
