Current bike has handlebars which are simply described as 6061 aluminium Ergo Audax.

How come I can't find these bars anywhere online? Is there any time of drop bar which is built for more audax style or are they all much of a muchness?

Just looking for some new bars for my Van Nic that's all.

Should you tip friends?

Some friends of mine run a bar, they sort me out with coffees when I'm in, and I repair their bikes when they need help.... but when I eat there I pay, should I tip? I tend not to as I never thought you should tip your friends, especially as I do them alot of favours...

I say no though, especially if you do them bikey favours. you NEVER get tipped for fixing your mates bikes.

When I worked in a pub - I don't expect tips from friends, in fact I'd find it strange if they do.

Can any one recommend a cheap wired cycle computers to use.

unbelievably sore with accompanying weird taste that won't go away. When I had mine I found that washing my mouth out with corsodyl temporarily relieved the pain.

although corsodyl also leaves an unpleasant taste in your mouth.

And dyes your teeth brown if you use it long term.

No no no, my pleasure.

I used it three/four times a day when my jaw was broken on both sides, and wired together.

This meant that I could not utilise a toothbrush as I would have wished, hence the Corsodyl.

It's good stuff- but "intensive" use will effect a change in the colour of your teeth, I was advised.

For me that was worth it- it kept my teeth clean when I could not brush.

I would imagine that you will not be using it that heavily, so will be fine.

I don't know what it would do for your abscess, btw.

I have 2 bottles of what I'm sure is Corsodyl. I apply it to my problem area with my tongue, rather than my finger. It burns the tip of my tongue until it becomes painful. If this is the stuff, it does work for my destroyed gob Alex. I recommend it.

Nope they go from flats down to parrell drops. Think they might just be any old drops. I'll just buy a pair of deda to replace them.
