Ok, this is a bit like that 'which saddle' question... Should I go for Shimano 105 SPD-SL or Look Keo Easy/Classic pedals for my road bike? I ride M520s on my fixed and am quite happy with them.

Excellent question. The search lists 45 pages for DAS and a quick glance through the first 3 bring up a lot of references to Das Boot and Shimano DAs.
It is a fact though that Mr Smyth off this forum was the first person ever to use the phrase 'fixie skidder'. -

^^ Bit out of my price range really at £90 a pop.

Fair enough. That they are dual sided means that they are as easy to get into as your MTB pedals, but if they are too spendy then they are too spendy.

Should I go for Shimano 105 SPD-SL or Look Keo
Easy/Classic pedals for my road bike?Either, there isn't much difference. Since the Easy is best avoided, the Shimano 105 has a price advantage. If you want value for money, of course, you go to the leading Taiwanese OEM pedal source; Keo function with an all metal construction for harder wear than the plastic French pedals.
Evans has them at £29.99

I'd say KeO, but I haven't tried any other systems so you should ignore my opinion. Also, regarding the DAS question upthread somewhere - when I joined the forum I recalled the cryptic greeting being 'slack chain', which seems to have fallen out of favour. Maybe 'RED!' will supercede DAS. Who knows.

I remember it like it was yesterday...
We were outside the C&H, summer '08, Cirsh just belted it out at some random dude that rolled past... Was probably an SS rider, I don't recall, very few fixehs in south London back then...
That was our fun for the rest of the night... Retards that we were/are...

The RLJ thread. Some guy shouted "RED" at a forumenger who RLJed then posted his tale on the pistonheads forum.

how do I convert a front disc to fit on the rear? I'm about 10mm away from where I need to bolt the mount to the frame
can I just use longer bolts with spacers?

Fucken truing.. .how does it work?
Does it count as "crossing the streams" if I use Vittoria Mastik to attach Conti 22c Competitions to carbon?
