  • for example, my slr t1 cost £13.51

    slr t1 ≠ slr

  • It actually does = SLR that's why it's called SLR.
    That was the cheapest example. I got a white one for £20 and I know someone who got one for £5.

    So, more nyer. Nyer, nyer fucking nyer.

  • death

    Bad death?

  • More of a mediocre one I think, generally. You could enhance it if you involve some flammable shit and a spark at the same time. Film it and you're on your way.

  • I'm not wasting petrol like that.

    So- stripping carbon is a no-no?

    May as well just paint it then.

  • It actually does = SLR that's why it's called SLR.

    In that case, I have an SLR XP here that I'd be delighted to swap with you for an SLR Teknologica. I'll even give you £5 extra to cover the inconvenience.

  • Why cant they just drop nuclear waste into a volcano to destroy it? Would it be a disaster?

  • hippy is always right

    Glad we sorted that out.

  • Why cant they just drop nuclear waste into a volcano to destroy it? Would it be a disaster?

    The local wildlife might not be too happy.

  • ^^^ It would then throw it back at us spread out over a very large area. Radioactive waste doesn't get destroyed like that. They're currently developing processes to reduce the half life of the metals. The process could change lead to gold if they really wanted to, but the cost of the process is more expensive than gold by a long way making the exercise pointless apart from to prove that they can do it..

  • Why cant they just drop nuclear waste into a nuclear reactor to destroy it?

    That's the plan.

  • wouldnt the shit left over be really fucking nasty.

    matter just doesnt disapear.

  • Transmute long half life isotopes into short half life isotopes by neutron capture, let them decay, rinse and repeat. Eventually you end up with isotopes which have, for all practical purposes, infinite half life and therefore no radioactivity.

  • Got this frame. There's been a few on this forum. The decals on it aren't like any of the others I've seen, they've got glittery silver accents and I really like them. On the flip side I'd also like the frames blemishes cleaned up, which would require loosing the stickers.

    Keep or strip?

  • ^^ Like you get in bananas.

    ^ Investigate NOS replacements?

  • they're ususally the gashy yellow ones

  • +1 on replacements.

    A decent signwriting company will be able to sort you out. Will be cheaper if you supply the design as they tend to charge £15+p/hr for designwork

  • What are you doing with it- modern kit or period?

    Modern=strip strippity strip.

  • What frame?

  • ^this is the worst of the decals. I guess it's looking a strip...

    @Steve GT EDGE
    @Dammit: All modern

  • Sexy!

  • Strip 'em off.

  • ...hang on. That's not an edge! Look at the welds. That looks like a ball burnished Aluminium bike.

  • Photos of other GT Edges all have yellow downtube decals, like:

    http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/6715799/

    As much as the white looks cool, yellow would go with the "Edge" decal I reckon..
