Oh damn thank you! I didn't even consider chat gpt. I thought I was smart using Google lens.
The design around it kind of looks Celtic to me. I guess it's a kind of curio/bric a brac touristy thing.

I was in Riga, Latvia and saw quite some fixed gears here. I saw 2 of them with a curved down tube (more or less like this picture) and a mono stay in the rear.
They had a short wheelbase. Does anyone know which brand bikes these are?

Does anyone know what language this is?
post-swim noodle at The Level. I stuck to rolling around, dropping into the cat litter tray because dammit I have Excel spreadsheets to wrangle later dammit.
I’m going to keep nibbling away at it. The rush is still completely outpacing the actual ‘rad’. Pretty sure this will end. But whatevahhh. -

Up to you but If I was going to do it I’d listen for anything that might break Gdpr then make a collage then upload them, it’s fine imho. What are you using to record it?

We're off to the Scilly Isles this weekend for a hols. Anyone been and got some recommendation for thing to do? Its a small place, so not a huge amount i'd imagine! We're going for the nature and already doing snorkelling with seals, a boat safari and a rockpool safari. No cars allowed, so we're taking bikes and a trailer for the kids.

I might get the Bluetooth module so I remotely start recording. And a dead kitten thing, it does pick up a fair amount of wind (in my 5 mins experiment so far).
It got delivered this morning

cool very nice! I didn't know they had another recorder in the H4 range. I've still got an H4 that I bought in my 2nd year of Uni over a decade ago. decent little things.
def need the wind protection for any outdoor recordings!

OMG you have to visit Tresco gardens, they are absolutely amazing. Lookout for the totally random 10foot tag on the drainpipe just before the entrance

So jealous, we used to go quite a bit when I was a kid. No way could I afford it these days. As you say, its walking, fresh air stunning beaches, not a huge amount to do exactly, you take a boat trip to a different island every day, go for a walk sit on a beach, its great.
A few recommendations:
Wildlife boat trip to Bishops Rock lighthouse
Tresco house gardens, (theres a small shipwreck museum as well)
Cromwells/Charles Castle on Tresco
The Turks Head pub on St Agnes [ridiculous, epic views, get there early]
Lap walk of the Garrison wall on St Marys after supper.
Best beaches are on Bryher and Great Bay St Martins, they feel like the end of the earth.
Mermaid Inn on St Marys
Walk at low tide from Tresco to Bryher
Star Castle hotel for a posh supper
Juliet's Garden on St Marys for supper.
Look for washed up beads in the sand on Beady Pool on St Marys (from a shipwreck)
If you're into history look out for some great Neolithic tombs dotted around the islands.
Buy a 2 liter bottle of scrumpy and a packet of bacon from the Islands CoOp and go crabbing off the jetty.I would strongly recommend planning your evening meals now, you must book well in advance for anything nice. Book Juliet's Garden tonight.
Hope that helps!

Oh, wow. thanks for the info. Yeah, it's a lot more expensive than we imagined, to make the accomodation work, we're spending a few days in a hostel, some ina chalet and some in a pre-pitched tent! We've got the kids so not likely to have nice dinners out of an evening really (they're terrible in restaurants).

Was born/grew up there.
Above suggestions are good.
Go shrimping - get a big net and a bucket (with a lid or they will hop out) and trawl through the seaweed at low tide. Then take your catch a boil them in sea water - drain and add some butter :)
Gig racing is another one to watch - races on weds and Friday evenings
Some of the uninhabited islands are worth a visit - Samson and Tean in particular. Don’t miss the boat home :p
Beware - the water looks amazing and like a Caribbean island but it’s bloody freezing as you are in the middle of the Atlantic… :)

SE6 area ideally -

Adding scrumpy to the list for crabbing is game changing.

How to carry a bike on a bike?
-
• #122874
Is it a one off thing? and is it not a cargo bike?
In no particular order... ghost riding, strapped to back or bag, Bakki cycles pannier (really cool panniers), in pieces.. :)

Wheels off, strap frame + wheels on backpack is the simplest in my experience
I wondered if it might be fu as it's common, but I couldn't see the swirl bottom right as a match without the cross in it. But it's been stylised in lots of different ways, so shrug.
