How lively? Magaluf lively?
If it's a cycling holiday, then I think staying in the north is wisest, as the best roads are there, and it's easier to get away from traffic, whereas around Palma that's more of a challenge.

Question. Why is it every time I walk into the bank the tellers look at me like I'm the one that robbed them last week? Come on man. Funk that.

Alcudia is a pleasant place to stay, and a bit nicer than Pollenca. Hotels know to cater to cyclists: we scored an all inclusive with a park tool bench, mechanic (basic repairs incl., others cost extra), pool, buffet meals, spa, 1 sports massage every week, about 5 mins walk from the beach for not much ā¬ā¬. Close to a great Italian ice cream parlour too.

Can you confirm that it wasn't you? Because if you can't, then the answer seems rather obvious

Where to stay?
Soller. Right in the middle of the hills. Lovely town. Possibly not lively enough though.

Have you checked where Jonny69 rubber face masks are in the bank robber's Top10?

Can anyone ID this triangular logo? I bought the cap on Vinted with no reference to the logo and can't seem to get anything via Google.
If it helps, the cap brand is Fractel, so maybe it's some kind of collaboration with some nobody?

Nearest thing I can find is this, very close but not an exact match. Maybe it was made as some sort of promo item?

I'm trying to fit a thru axle with rack mounts to my Rockshox fork. Unfortunately the cheap option, the Curve Relaxle, only comes in 143mm length while the Rockshox requires 148mm. The Old Man Mountain fit kit would work but costs ~Ā£100 with import duties. So I wonder:
- does anyone know of a UK based option for such a part that might be a bit more affordable?
- does anyone know if a non-QR Maxle (eg https://www.amazon.co.uk/Rockshox-Maxle-Stealth-Front-System/dp/B00W1B87GU) hollow all the way through (ie could I fit a QR through it to bodge a mount)?

Was there a website that did chain longevity tests? Or am I simply imagining this?
Am trying to find out if there is any performance difference between sram transmission gx and xo chains or is it a Ā£50 extra cost just for a pointless black coating on the xo chain.

Zero friction facts do, for waxed chains.

Just buy cheap buy twice.

• #120468
This website suggests SRAMs gx (non transmission) chains wear out twice as fast as the xo chains but are not half the price, so work out costing more

https://onyalife.co.uk/ might fit the bill?

I want to dismantle a light to spray it.
When I come to replace this heat shrink, what type of heat shrink do I replace it with? - ie does it need to be a specific type?
Cheers
(it's covering some sort of terminal block)

whats the deal with some sitcoms where a main character has a wife / husband / friend but that person is never shown or other characters in the sitcom have never seen the character. in dads army capt manwaring's wife has never seen by other members of the squad. mrs columbo is never seen. norms wife in cheers. niles wife maris in cheers. wilson in home improvement
is this some nod to some classic literature, greeks or romans. budgetary restraints ?
-
• #120473
I think itās just to simply build the main character(s) without distraction.

Power of imagination. Always thought that with Wilson.
Apparently renting is much more expensive than it used to be, but when I went it seemed like a no-brainer- assuming you can get the bike to fit comfortably. I took my own stem and saddle along with pedals to make it a bit better.
