I think that might be a class 444 which has something like https://commons.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Bike_area_on_Class_444.jpg

Yeh as @jellybaby said. There's a good page on Southwestern's website:
https://www.southwesternrailway.com/travelling-with-us/travelling-with-a-bike
Crucially, no reservations required for London Waterloo - Portsmouth Harbour, so at the end of the day you just squeeze your bike where you can, if it happens to be busy.
There are peak time restrictions:

Is there a free way to find out roughly where the owner of a car lives? We've got a dead street tree outside our house and the local council want to fell it and plant a new one. There's a car that has been parked in the space next to it for weeks, and the council can't take the old tree down whilst it's there. I'd like to know if the owner is local or not.
Thanks.

DVLA. Whether it's reasonable cause or not I don't know...
https://www.gov.uk/request-information-from-dvlaSuppose you could say the tree is at risk of falling and so you need them to move the car
You’ll need a ‘reasonable cause’, for example:
finding out who was responsible for an accident
tracing the registered keeper of an abandoned vehicle
tracing the registered keeper of a vehicle parked on private land
giving out parking tickets
giving out trespass charge notices
tracing people responsible for driving off without paying for goods and services
tracing people suspected of insurance fraud -

If it's not moved in weeks maybe you can claim it's abandoned

Your local second hand will likely have bins of them, just pick one or two up for a quarter, that’s pretty awesome

They will have bins of cheap generic ones. Where's the boutique option we have with phone cases?

Yes you generally get those, or the sideways fold down seats spaces which are much nicer.

The council should contact the DVLA, not you. I got an abandoned lorry leaking oil onto road and storm drains removed via my council, only took about 3 months.

Since I wear my glasses all day every day I have a drawer full of glasses cases that have never been used beyond transporting specs from the shop. They're all free rather than awesome but if you might be interested I can take photos of them.

Anyone know what these fixings are called? They're the sort of thinks pictures in pubs are fixed to the wall with.
I have an old mirror which has a broken one at one end, but we previously mounted it portrait. Now I need to hang it landscape and need two.
Cheers.

I agree, I was just going to ask on the street WhatsApp group and thought I'd do some research first.

The council should contact the DVLA
Round here the council just have a tow truck lift up any cars in the way and plonk them down somewhere else nearby. If they've ignored a parking restriction (for a removals van, or a road resurfacing - that usually has a two week notice period) then they get a ticket, but for times when they haven't been able to give that notice they just move them without giving a ticket.

If a vehicle looks abandoned the DVLA has a process for writing to the registered owner, waiting for them to reply, then notifying the police that the vehicle can be seized and crushed. If there are no plates on it the police look for the engine or chassis number.

Anybody after an Ultegra R8100 12 Speed Chainset? I'm going to order a groupset for someone but the cranks aren't wanted, they're currently on wiggle for £237 if you want a choice of rings and lengths or elsewhere for £200 if you want the specific ones they have. I'll do £200+postage for your choice of length and rings.

Am I unlucky, or are Hope seat clamps terrible? I ordered one to replace the stock clamp that broke. 30.04mm (ish) post per callipers, ordered 30mm hope. Fits nicely, but at the 8nm I can rotate the post by hand...
If I cinch up to about 11nm and use carbon assembly paste it seems to stay in place...
Any recommendations on a good seat post clamp in 30, don't really trust this one.

If it’s on your awol I’m sure I remember having to over tight them all the time. This will sound daft, but although the slot in the seat tube is at the back try putting the clamp with the bolt at the front. It’s how spesh got round the dropping post on the Sequoia.
