Yeah, I thought there should be a seal under the cap but I've not got another bottle to check.

Meant to be 16oz and I reckon it's closer to 12.

Seems you're missing about 4oz then.

I concur with that analysis. I'll give him a bell shortly.

You can also activate it as if it were a legit corporate volume license using a ‘tool’ from ‘the internet’.

Cheers Aggi and Ecto, will probably use the trial version for the moment as it's just for running certain free programs which don't run on Mac

Cheapest route to Win 10 is buying an old Win 7 key off eBay or similar and then upgrading it for free to Win 10.
I updated my daughter's laptop from Win 7 to Win 10 a few weeks ago so the method still works even though MSFT don't really advertise that it's still possible.

What's that gentle velcro called?
I need some double sided velcro sticky pads to hold a fabric cushion to a plastic seat. But I don't want the velcro to be the standard brutal stuff that'll fuck up the back of the fabric and be a bitch to remove the cushion.
Cheers.

I used to have an OS app that would screenshot a webpage and let you save it as jpg or PDF. It was super simple, the only difference from the built in screen shot function was that it would get the whole page, including the bits that couldn't fit the browser window.
Can't for the life of me remember what it was called. Any ideas? -

Does anyone do bars like this with a 31.8mm clamp?

Not an app, but an alternative: https://web-capture.net/

Snagit used to that. Not sure if it's still around.
Firefox has the capability built in now, but not much use if you don't use FF.

Praxis says its single narrow-wide chainring must be used with a clutched rear mech. Can anyone advise why this is so?
-
• #107917
Cheers. Ordered.

Both NW and clutch are aimed at reducing chain drop. I suspect Praxis are of the mind that NW on its own isn't sufficient. I can't see why you couldn't run the ring without a clutched mech, but you might suffer chain drop more often than you would with a clutched mech. Probably better than a non-NW and non-clutched set-up though.

Thanks, yeah the Firefox one is pretty decent actually.

Thanks — that's what I figured too

Can anyone recommend a decent bike trailer? Just need something to take the cardboard to the recycling place a couple of km away.
Was thinking this: https://www.vidaxl.fi/e/vidaxl-polkupyoran-perakarry-65-kg-musta-ja-keltainen-/8718475701361.html
But wondering what benefits a significantly more expensive option like this would offer: https://www.xxl.fi/croozer-croozer-cargo-trailer-croozer-cargo-kalle-pyorakarry-vihrea/p/1184943_1_style
Sorry for the elvish langauge, btw.

Second one is lighter, looks slicker.
Maybe part of the price differential is down to where they are manufactured, but I didn’t see. -
• #107923
I've used one both with and without a clutched rear mech. Seemed fine either way.
-
• #107924
I've found that unless you're doing big shreddz, a NW ring has much more of an impact on chain retention than a clutched mech, and generally a 1x drivetrain happily runs with just the NW ring.
For mad sendz & that, you'll want a clutch.

Same. Currently have a NW with 10-speed 105 and 9-speed X0 and neither throw their chains. I used to ride a single chainring on the road BITD with 5-6 speed and it used to come off quite regularly when cross-chaining.
Don't they usually have a bonded foil seal under the screw cap?
If I had to guess, I'd say some chancer had returned it for a refund after taking the two tyres worth he needed, and the scumbag retailer put it back on the shelf without bothering to check.
