Ison distributes DC in the UK.

Maybe look for stuff made in Portugal/Italy, like websites based in those countries?

Thanks.

Think I have a B2B account with Ison as it happens. Let me know if you want something

this looks like a great shout, thank you. Personal recommendation goes a long way. You get that fancy-hotel vibe each time you get in, right?
-
• #105783
Cheers, good idea, struggling to find anything but will have a look again later...

Yeah, it is really nice. Though coming from 20 quid whatever ikea, it was going to be. If you have a tumble-dryer apparently they're even fluffier but we just line dry them and don't iron. The top sheet in particular is a revelation for softness/keeping a really nice temperature - somehow both cool and warm. The duvet cover is also fairly good at wrangling the duvet so we don't get a lump of it at one end and an empty cover for the rest of it.

Sounds perfect, cheers mate.

I've been experimenting with Double Twist CloudPlayer with uploading of music collection to Google Drive. A couple of concerns, Chromecast does work using this approach (apparently they're working on it) but not an issue if Dropbox or OneDrive are used
There's no option to download playlists which is I guess their way of trying to lock you in

• #105787
Oh thats interesting thank you, will look into it

Is there a website/recource that lets you put a number in to get a real world comparison ?
e.g. we have served 50,000 customers this year, thats the same as the whole population of "insert area"

As the Faeroe Islands.
(not as dynamic as what you're asking for, I know.)

Hmm I suspose wiki has lots of lists like that, would be great if they had a search function.
Search for X value in Y units -

how about 'the same as the £ cost of nine takeaways for Matt Hancock's staff'?

"that's the same amount of people who quit under the stress of Priti Patel's constant browbeating"

Obviously this is where the magic of spreadsheets comes in

my design consultant is still in bed, so: Fusion 360 - if I want to create a load of holes in a flat 2d shape, do I need to extrude it first, then create another sketch on that face and extrude the holes back?
-
• #105796
That would work, you could also have them in the first sketch. You could also have points in the first sketch and then create holes using the hole function. None of them is the best option per se, they all give the same result but some respond better to various types of design changes than others.

You can get some weird stuff like that on WolframAlpha
50,000 ≈ 0.85 × undergraduate enrollment in the University of Central Florida during the 2018-2019 academic year ( 58913 people )
-
• #105798
For something which is always going to have a load of through holes in it, I'd put them on the same sketch as the extrusion. That way, you have one sketch to edit if you change the design, and if you're a tart you can lay out the holes parametrically in relation to the plan, if that's going to be relevant in the case of design changes.

That site has always been a 'cool, but i have no use for you' kind of place for me, until now! thanks

If my slow cooker Turkey recipe calls for lemon, butter, herbs, can I substitute fresh lime juice for the lemon or will it taste weird? I tried the recipe yesterday and the juices came out bitter af because the recipe didn’t say to remove the skin and pith from the lemon... still angry.
Happy thursday folks.
We used Bedfolk and really like it. Arrives in a nice bag, so good as a gift. They also do quilts and pillows I think? But yes for the full set especially in silly big sizes it ain't cheap. But it is dead comfy. Think we had a discount code we found online. Think it was about £300 from memory included a fitted sheet.
