Is there any functional point to a “Flying Gate” frame? Every time I see one I just think it looks like someone got bored and stuck a few extra bits on a normal bike frame.

If it was better it'd be ubiquitous by now.

Anyone here had ultra filtered milk? I'm trying out the Joya 3.25%.

It functions to advertise the builder in an age of "amateur" sport when you could get paid to ride a particular bike as long as it didn't have the maker's name on it. See also curly stays Hetchins and Bates diadrant forks.

Was it ok for me to leave groceries outside my Jewish neighbour's door this morning?
They seem to have been online on WhatsApp, but haven't read my message or responded.

Does anyone know what remote I need for a Sony KDL-42W829B TV?
Without sounding really stalkery, I know one forumunger has this TV as I viewed their house in Peckham 2 years ago! -

Depends which groceries. The eggs 🥚 were probably fine, but the bacon 🥓 might have been a bit insensitive

How orthodox are they? They would appear online if the phone is switched on, but they might not want to push any buttons on the sabbath

Depends how strict they are. They may not open the door until sunset.

Cheers. I guess I'll not worry about it. I wanted to wait til tomorrow, but my OH thought it would be fine. Now I'm having waves of middle class guilt over my cultural insensitivity.
They are reformist. Which I confess I don't know a thing about, other than an Orthodox friend dismissing them as not proper Jews. My OH has had to reset their boiler for them, the husband wears a kippah, so I guess they're observant and will get it later.

I know there's a certain stigma attached to them BUT.... anyone ever had or used a Lay-z-Spa or Intex type inflatable hot-tub. If so worth it or not worth and under what circumstances? Any to go for or avoid? Cheers

I have seen a few whole sale grocers offering delivered veg boxes, has anyone used one of these and can recommend the service?

We have a lay-z-spa Saint tropez, we pretty much use it as a glorified paddling pool, one thing I didn’t realise is just how loud it would be with the bubbles on, and how quickly it would cool down with the bubbles on.

Most of the wholesalers seem to have quite localised delivery so that would be the first way to filter.

Blogs and copyright. My partner is writing a blog about play techniques with children. It’s got some original photos on there. The ideas expressed probably aren’t totally original as she is discussing techniques that are already known but it’s all her own writing.
Should she put anything on there stating the work shouldn’t be copied without permission or does uk law cover this automatically. I tried searching for info on this but got more confused. -

In theory, UK law does provide economic copyright protection to qualifying works without having to be explicitly asserted by the author, but there's no harm in stating who the copyright holder is if only to stop people blithely assuming that you're placing the work in the public domain. Actually doing anything about it when somebody, especially a foreign somebody, rips off your content is a whole different matter.
Also, read the small print of your hosting agreement, especially free hosts. You may be assigning some of your rights as part of the agreement in exchange for not paying in cash for the IT infrastructure.

You automatically have copyright over anything you create. If it's general techniques etc, it's likely you'd only be able to claim infringement if the exact form of words was copied, as you can't copyright ideas. The photos would be protected.
Proving infringement and/or getting any recompense, OTOH, may be more hassle and expense than it's worth...

What glue can I use? Or should I just not bother with a key? -
