What no PAULS.????
Having stripped both side of a PHIL hub whilst pulling hard skids
I got a PAUL hub with HUGE lock ring
We made it extra wide so it will never strip out, and it’s easy to get a wrench on it.
On the inside there is a step so if your cog is a little narrow the lock ring will still tighten up against it.I love Paul Comp stuff. Would love a bike built from there; hubs, cranks, lovely rack... Very spendy, though.

blankface, don't take it to heart, but your poll showed immense potential, but turned out to be shit, just like mine.
I suck, but you suck more. :(
Or is that the other way around? Hmmmm...
realized the moment I pulled the trigger my friend!
However people seem to be posting good information/opinions about hubs nonetheless. -

Another vote for Royce.
The level of precision and teh shiny is just silly. Bearings are the best I've seen, on par with zipp.
Bolts, lockrings, freehub bodys are perfectly beautifully machined and seem to be indestructible.
Finish is utter glory butter in a bucket too.

Who here has knackered a front hub?
Just asking because I've only ever ruined front hubs on a BMX. My fronts riding fixed just last and last.
As for the OP... I've heard only great things about Royce (for racing) but if it were my money I'd take a look at Goldtec. It seems the newer stock is built for a 42mm chainline now?

I have used none of the ones mentioned in the poll!
But I have used and use, Suzue Pro-Max sb, Dura Ace, Gran Compe and formula.
All good, but the dura ace roll the best!
Oh fucking yeah - I get to talk about the ZEN of riding brakeless in the middle of the night whilst someone else is paying me a hundred dolla an hour to work
