  • No reason why not, you can send it to your Kindle via email.

Read a lots of books that I can't get in the Kindle store, such as Time Traveller's Wife.

  • Wonderful device and I definitely need and want one. Shame I can't spare the money atm. The 3G isn't worth the extra money for me though.

  • What's the weight of the film canister like compared to the cover you get with the toothbrush?

Film caniser must be at least twice the size as well.

The fact that it keeps the schmutz out and never comes off the brush until I want it to renders both those points moot.
Someone have a digital scale and a canister and toothbrush cover?
    I'm curious now.

  • I use one of these with one of these for night duties at the campsite.

  • Clingfilm as lightweight toothbrush cover?

    Alpkit Gamma headtorch.

  • Clingfilm will be ruined after one day.

  • I won't rest until everyone's toothbrushes are as light as they can possibly be. It's my life's mission.

  • My friend has 3D printer. Reckon he could design me a hollow one!

  • Or design you a hollow one....that you could cut in half?!?!?!!

    Hmmm?

    Think about that!

  • The post about brushes is true. I have that problem

Oral B 35 medium works or damages least- though I ve now moved onto a small soft head on an electric brush.

  • ^^ I would make it short to begin with. Here you can see a technical drawing which shows the size of the brush and the hollow inside.

  • What if you made it short *and then *cut it in half. Think about THAT.

  • Kindle paperwhite is an essential touring need. I used mine so much. And if you do run out of battery, after a while, it doesn't need much charge.

A head torch is also essential. That way you can cook/wee and other needs with light where you need to see. And both hands free.

  • ^^ Wow then I could even use the hollow space to store other stuff. Good thinking mate!

^ I like the thought of weeing hands free.

  • Head torches are very, very useful. Petzl make a really tiny one, it's about the size and weight of a lemon cream biscuit. It's got a cord rather than a strap which is a bit uncomfortable, but I've usually got a beanie on at night so I don't notice it.

  • I like your design but I've refined it using a minimalist approach

Triple butted walls and a revolutionary 2-bristle design to save weight.

  • I got a enegizer one from the supermarket for £10. 3 settings. And a red light too. Cracking bright.

Also I've always my hope vision if I need super light.

  • ^^ Could definitely lose some serious µgrams by trimming the thick parts on both ends as well. Mind that I tour in mountainous regions. How am I gonna climb mountains with all that weight?

  • Titanium toothbrush with removal brush.

  • Cut in half

  • Drilled

  • On a serious note: Titanium rubbing your teeth cant be good... You really doing this?

  • Just don't brush your teeth.

    Problem solved.

  • plaque is heavy

  • remove your teeth
