We don't need original references, this is London my friend.

  • Yeah m.f., Forum In-Jokes win!

London isn't a toilet, Poole is though. It sounds like stagnant water, and it has 'poo' in.

  • i did that and he still sounds like a silly killjoy

maybe its just me, but i found the BC review really funny. we should always laugh at ourselves, even at things we hold dear. he speaks some truth, too. i can see how someone of a different generation would be quite shocked at the price of things in bike shops, especially stuff like the NJS counter at BC, what with hipster VAT+!

I agree, just prefer it to where I lived in Elephant and Castle, although I have heard that area is 'up and coming' now too.

You weren't meant to take my post too seriously mate.

Elephant will always be a toilet though.

  • all Elephant dwellers start ranting.......
hey I know that, wondered if any Londoners would take umbrage about my post,
tbh I just want one of those threads that GOES OFF, been ages hasnt it?

  • You didn't see I Hate a couple of weeks ago, then?

  • "i hate" was the latest .. or was it "gorgeous baby blue fixie" ? It has been a while, though :)

  • Very very rarely go on that thread. Got too much Love to be a hater. you knows it.

  • A week is along time in fixiepolitics ...

  • Very very rarely go on that thread. Got too much Love to be a hater. you knows it.

Yep I ignored it all til I realised something was up. Let's just say:

  • this afternoons a long time. going to see Les Triplettes de Belleville on the big screen later though, yay.

  • I think you have to be a bit more subtle to set it off, especially when you live in Poole. People in glass houses and all that. ;p
