As far as I can tell, Crofton Park is a made up name in the sense that its just the cemetary/park, not the name of a place, cos there was already a Brockley station up the road and they needed a name... etc. If you get my point. Its a bit like (in a way) the annoying announcements on tubes that says 'this station is HoLborn (pronouncing the L) and now there's a whole generation of people who think that's how you say it, just cos some prick who was doing the recordings didn;t know how to say it, like 'Ho'b'n'. Crofton Park is just a station. And a park.
