• the usual first new pub drinks incidents of: being threatened with being barred, random people driving up and vomiting out of cars, attractive bar maids, a whole RLJ argument with locals, fancy dress costumes and a jazz band with a six string headless bass. I second that snowy emotion, tucking into super hot szechuan chilli beef and mushroom chow mein and its killing me, but hopefully blowing the wings off what's left of this chest infection I invariably get when winter sets in.
