No Nellie, unusually that wasn't me dropping stuff, that was the stage being shaken apart by the sheer amount of infra-bass. The only think I dropped that gig was my guts.

PAT - where the fuck did you get that? I had to delete a typed out train of thought about pros and cons of quad sub because I realised just in time there are other forums for that geekery. Do you have the PA spec for it? That is probably the best stage plot I've ever seen (8 years as festival sound engineer, so no small complement) - nowt but bleedin SM57s too :) Shame they're not mic'in the 8x10s, though they'll need bear-PA to get over the backline. Attilla won't hear shit outa two pairs :D

Funktion-One made some speakers that might have made it to Washington but I think they're too big to mention in their website. My personal fave is the Res3 - looks like an average kinda box from afar (no Dougal, small... far awaay) but is actually taller than my mother in law.

Saw LCD Soundsystem there in 2006 - loudest and most distorted gig I've heard, no question. Couldn't hear for a week after. I've decided to change career to hearing aid development to make sure I can cope with the long term effects of that one night! well worth it though.
