Reminds me of some kind of 70's ash tray or something..but I quite like the concept.

Almost a return to the Cray-1 supercomputer, but good.

Love it, have no need for a desktop but beautiful all the same...

You could attach a second monitor if you have one handy, then you can set which one the menu bar appears on via System Prefs. Other than that, I don't think it's possible.

had a quick google and it seems impossible to move that menu bar. so annoying.

Insanely small for a pro workstation. Insanely small. There's a whiff of G4 Cube in there somewhere, though.

There is something Star-Wars ish about it or Dyson perhaps, pure forms with a nod to engineering rather than styling. I think it looks pretty good. It's damn small, especially considering the size and weight of the current Pro's.

It does look good, but the upgrade path had better be an effing long one.
This is Apple's chance to redefine Pro computing in a sustainability context.
Years of built-in obsolescence and general apathy on Apple's part have soured Mac Pro ownership for me and a lot of others I know.

So how long will i have to wait for a haswell MBP or RMBP?

Holy poop on a stick. Should really start planning sabotage of current pros to claim on insurance.

If they can bring themselves to build that without the proprietary RAM and SSDs like in the retina MBPs, it'll be great. Shame to lose PCIe without spending an extra £250, but another good reason not to upgrade to Pro Tools HDX.

iOS 7 don't look that amazing. It's a bit flatter... hmm.
