  • Don't install Leopard on a PPC machine fullstop. It will become extremely bogged down even with patches/tinkering.

  • my laptop is pretty ancient so will need to check what the cpu is when I get home.

  • does anyone know how to do a screengrab on a PC with a MAC keyboard?

  • mac = shift+apple+4 and you get a drag to select that saves as Picture 1 etc. try that.

  • or get skitch or something similar for upload/web sharing.

  • wait...

  • you've got a mac keyboard on a PC?

  • have you tried F16/F17/F18 .. they are in pretty much the same position as the print screen button on a PC ....

  • ... as you were.

  • If all else fails....?

  • I love America.... and they're allowed to have guns too.... good job people don't work incredibly long hours in unproductive jobs until they're ready to snap huh....?

  • It's a shame i win at something completely irrelevant to the rest of life. Never mind; it's the little victories.

  • it's such a tasty keyboard though.

i would like to uograde to a mac....but i'd have to spend around £15K on software.....aint gonna happen.

  • got a problem with our G5
turn it on, it goes "blah!"
then the fan kicks in like it's overheating. just the apple on the screen and the fan whirring away.
turned it on and off again 20 times, and rested.
    always the same thing
    any ideas??

  • What have ants got to do with it?

  • any, for funny fecker :)

  • Try starting it in user mode... Restart and hit Apple-S (once it's 'bonged') 'til the scary DOS screen comes up... I'll talk you through the rest...

  • Sound like it's dead.
