Any of you guys have any idea what it means when an iPhone 4 ceases to function and simply displays the 'connect to iTunes' screen? My missus is freaking out.

Have you changed the sim card recently? Sometimes it requires re-activation

Ms Pun has a macbook circa 2006-2008 and we're trying to find a cable that will give us the hdmi link kind of like this but the tv output on the mac doesn't match the cable as it's for the newer models.
Apple Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics
What cable doe she need?thanks

I'd go with the sennheisers!
even the CX300II or CX400II are vastly superior in sound - they just don't last long enough IMO

I'd also like to know this, I've got an early 2009 macbook and would like to know what dvi to hdmi I have to buy.

mini DVI:
mini display port (same as current thunderbolt interface):
so mini DVI to whatever interface you want (hdmi/DVI/VGA) a HDMI cable is what you (clever pun) need if you have the correct adapter.

I wish Apple did a headless iMac for a decent price.
That is all. -
• #2567
macmini?

• #2568
Close... but not really... Quad core should be possible below £800 as well as a non integrated graphics card, I think?
-
• #2569
thank you very much MrSmyth & timmah. Appreciate it

the cards are not that bad. i can playback native 5d footage without skipping on a 13in MBP.
agree on the quad issue though. -

Hm. thats good to know... but rendering in AE even on a 27inch iMac can be a bore at times.. a Mini may just blow up...

Can anyone fathom this,
my ipod no longer syncs, i connect it to the computer and it says syncing, that never stops and i have to force quit itunes,
the ipod itself works just had no music on it, and i reset factory settings via the ipod as well, still nothing,
any ideas?

I just want to know if my macbook (early 2009) supports sound through the hdmi.

I'd go with the sennheisers!
not my choice, my wife lost hers and she seems to think she must have the originals, got one sorted now anyway. -

what generation imac? you know the new imacs/MBP's are streets ahead than the previous generation the clock speed is slower but everything else is faster
the cheapest MBP was as fast as a maxed out 17in 2k MBP of the previous generation.the only bottlneck is the HD's spin speed.
for what it's worth
