Not that I noticed. Mine had a grey section on the left of the screen, just above the input window on this photo. Was really annoying when scrolling as it didn't move so my eye kept being drawn to it.

Can anyone help with a whatsapp transfer please Android to iPhone?
Backed my whatsapp up today but set it up on my new iphone before the android backup finished.
Backup before that was 19/10 so not too long ago.
Android whatsapp now gone
Got all my groups on my new iphone and can send new messages from it, but none of the chat/media history. Can't seem how to import from a whatsapp backup.

Annoyingly transfer to IOS didn't work for whatsapp when moving other stuff across

I think I fixed that by uninstalling and re-installing WhatsApp on my mother's iPhone when faced with the same issue -

Oh ok, yeh I can see that. Different issue to mine then. I'll reach out to customer support and see what they think. Thanks for the advice!

cheers. the backup was to my old android phone though and that talks about icloud. so not sure

..sorry if that didn't help. I was under the impression backups (like the one you did 19/10) are basically stored on their servers (not locally on your device, be it android or iPhone) - so by doing a fresh WhatsApp install you could / should be able to get that backup.

I'm interested in the new M2 ipads.

I would like to use them in lieu of a laptop for in-field copying of data from card readers to portable SSDs. Is that possible in theory and are there any bus powered thunderbolt 4 'docks'(or hubs? not sure which is correct) that I could plug a single cable into the ipad, then have 2 USB-C/thunderbolt 3/4 devices plugged into? I presume an issue will be bus powering it from the ipad?

Does anyone use one of those privacy screen protectors on their iPhone? A million options on amazon to choose from.

A probably really obvious question:
why is my homepod not playing music when i ask "hey siri, play kraftwerk" and saying "hmm, this is taking too long" or "there is no kraftwerk in your library". WHAT?

Is it associated with a streaming account (Spotify etc?). You might need to say "hey siri, play kraftwerk on Spotify"

All on apple music, "i can't find kraftwerk in your apple music library" whereas before it just fucking did it.

The fact it's saying your Apple Music library means it might have unlinked from Apple Music (streaming) or been linked to an offline library which doesn't exist.

Try some of the tips on this page - perhaps setting a default music service or removing services.

Got relatives who have a flat in Benidorm. It's just a slightly warmer place to get a fry up.

Had a bit more of a play with stage manager on the ipad this weekend. It definitely feels less un-intuitive with a mouse than with touch.
