Does anyone have an apple pencil 1st gen they want to sell now they may have upgraded to something spectacular?

In addition- if someone wants to create layered images simply for a homework project, what's the best app to add? Like photoshop obvs.

I would like a laptop that can simultaneously run Teams w/ video meeting, VS Code w/ Live Share, a few low-CPU Docker containers and a 4K monitor without the fans going non-stop. Is that a given with any M1/2 laptop these days? Not very old faithful is brought to its knees by Teams

My MacBook Pro m2 runs teams with PS, Figma, XD, indesign, 30+ tabs in chrome plus all the usual email, slack, tidal, etc without much issues.

That said, if it crashes teams is often involved

If you’re having to buy new, there’s some great alternatives out there which are compatible and a lot less dollar.

After much deliberation and faffing around I was convinced I wanted the 11 Pro. And then I realised it’s not 5g compatible. Which is probably more of a stumbling block than the camera stuff. And buying a more recent phone probably fares better for potential resale/longevity.

The next question is what do outdoorsy people use as their phone cover of choice? Was always happy with a glass screen protector and a gel case for my 5s and then SE, but if I’m potentially spending £500 on a phone, I’d quite like to wrap it up a bit better! I’m also an electrician so the phone will be in less than ideal environments for most of its life.

I have a 12 mini that lives on building sites without a case. It's got a few dings in the metal surround from falling on harder metal objects but the back and screen are very durable and don't show any signs of wear. I don't ever keep the phone in a pocket with any other stuff.

Yeah as @Airhead says, I get the impression that the newest phones are pretty durable and don't need extra fall protection for the glass except in the most extreme of environments.
@Airhead, so you don't have edge protection either, just the bare phone?

That gives me hope tbh, although will probably still end up putting a gel case and screen protector on. Because my dumb arse will flog myself until the end of time if I damage it without a case on.
