End of days: My Macbook Pro is now too old to run the latest OS. Nothing in the new offering looks very worthwhile. Maybe I'll wait for the supposed Air redesign or look for a 2016ish Pro second-hand.

Anyone else thinking the new Mac Pro will be based on their own silicon? Seeing how good they are at mobile cpus it wouldn’t surprise me at all

Down from the £70 odd at the moment.

Seeing that the A12 is faster at some things than the new MacBook Pro, a higher wattage version for the iPad would be an utter beast, let alone something plugged into the wall.

Full Photoshop is confirmed for the iPad in 2019 so it’s just a matter of time until the rest of CC is ported over.
I’d guess they’d introduce their own chips to laptops first, as that’s where the benefits will be most obvious (battery life measured in days).

Would put money on a leaked reference to an A-series macOS build before summer.

Can't they just hurry up? I need to buy a new toy asap....

Also, I think it would end up in a mini before a Mac Pro - if they aren’t merged.

No sub-pixel anti aliasing in Mojave, so fonts may look like windows 95 on non-retina screens.

Is uBlock still the adblocker of choice for Mojave? I just tried out Ka-Block but it doesn't seem to block YouTube in video ads.

Early 2011, non-retina 15 incher here. Picked up my OH's 2015 13 inch the other day and realised what a tank I own. 11inch Air plz.

Is this confirmed btw? Isn't the macbook air still using a regular non-retina screen?

You can re-enable it in terminal. Not sure if it’s the default for the air.

Highly recomend Wipr for both Mac OS and iOS. Easily the best performing I've found, and I've been through a lot of them.
