I tried and failed four times in London (waiting time in each case was waaaaay to long).
Got it done in an hour in New York.

Must say, the new IOS 12 update is a breath of fresh air. The speed is rather impressive and everything feels quicker. Even on my iPhone SE and iPad Air. Very nippy!

Had mine done in Regent Street around March - took it there at lunch and picked up after work.

Yep still on at £25. The cheaper battery price is for the whole of this year. After that the price goes up to £70ish. In the Exeter store, they actually gave me a new iPhone 6 to replace mine. Turned out the battery was showing signs of being swollen so they couldn’t replaced the battery, but the new one was done for the price of a battery replacement!

I’ve got an iphone6 which can be done On the free/cheap battery replacement scheme but battery health is 93% (so it’s telling me)
Worth getting it done, just for the peace of mind? Or leave as is? -

Mine is showing battery heath as 80sth % and it is just my spare phone now. I do use it when going aboard and do intend to use it as a burner for when I am doing property search etc...
So I am also wondering if It’s worth getting it replaced? Thoughts?

So question regarding itunes on my windows PC.
When I first open the program seems to take an absolute age to react to anything despite it being on an SSD.
I have a big library of music, although probably nothing compared to some of you guys but I don't think that would be the problem.
Perhaps it's time to slim the library down a little? - although I refuse to lose any loseless.

Is everything on the SSD- the program, database and music?

Seems really bizarre that a few people will be suffering from this. I may try a complete reinstall of itunes.

No - just itunes. The rest is on a mechanical hard drive.
I've just ordered another hard drive- 2tb for video work so that will move all the files off the itunes drive, although I suspect that will make exactly 0 difference.

Just updated to iOS 12 last night and whatever the latest is for the Apple Watch and I can no longer control Spotify via Now Playing on the watch. Can someone try this and tell me if they are experiencing the same?
Any solution?

Real lovely! You can also mute individual notifications straight from the screen.

So who would you recommend to buy replacement laptop batteries from.
Also if a battery has swollen and pushed the trackpad up, does that mean that there is damage inside?

Is the battery replacement programme still on? If so, any actual experience with that in terms of wait time and etc?
I still got my 6s plus and while the battery is still in pretty good shape according to the Betteru Heath indicator but I thought if the offer is still on then I might as well...
