Is it easy to replace a battery on an iPhone?

is keynote worth getting? Everyone at my work is a powerpoint/pdf freak and we're producing "decks" all over the place.
I've never done a "deck", scripts were always enough when I was a young 'un, and feel like I need to kick some creative arse in terms of presenting ideas, will keynote make me king of the castle? -

is keynote worth getting?

Should come with purchases of new 'things' i.e. macbooks/imacs/ipads, that's how I have mine.
I quite like pages/keynote etc for their simplicity but they're a pain in the arse having to make duplicate saves of everything when you receive docs created in powerpoint/word etc.
'decks' can do one. Such abuse of that word in this industry. When did they become a 'thing'?
PDFs are king though.
I can't use indesign or illustrator to save my life so I create all the pages and artwork in potato chop then save as high res pngs, then import to acrobat and make a PDF book which I save to the smallest viable (nice looking) file size. -

i.e. (I've never created a thing with keynote in my life, or powerpoint but I use keynote to read lots of shite presentations I get sent).

Dear god. You're a monster...
(Just use google docs).

Can never get to grips with google docs' permissions.

Have the new MBPs come down in price yet? #thetrumpeffect

Currently trying to update on my laptop, which has an old copy from 2010, means I can update for free, but click on update button nothing happens.
Will check again tonight. -

Had similar problems but mine turned out to be due to my iTunes account not matching the one I was logged in with on the computer if it helps?

I think I'm going to go for the set-up you advised. I like the idea of running a cable to the middle of the house for the Unify UAP.
I've just been on hold for ages to our ISP and gave up.
Can any router be set to modem mode? I have the admin password so can get in to change settings but don't really know what I'm looking for. -

Give Prezi a go, really breaks away from the 'deck' style. THink free version is limited though.

In until I saw "ideate" in their promo video.

Ha! You clearly are not a solutionizer.

Stop the world, I want to get off...

will look into it, looks nice (reminder to self, find new word to replace "nice") since I'm currently not doing the pitching/presenting of work, wonder how nicely it plays in relation to powerpoint/keynote/pdf, or if it's just a great tool for putting stuff on screen in front of an audience?

Used Prezi. Not a fan. Makes things look like flash websites IMO. Crack on with Keynote.
-
• #10270
Did a prezi where the overall structure of the slides was a crude phallus, made the transitions so that you would just get a quick glimpse of the whole thing a few times throughout the presentation. Must admit I haven't used it for work since.

Because you got fired?

Apparently it takes more than that to get your marching orders.

Slick... Everyone loves dick pics...

Keynote is great, I used to use it to design whole apps, then prototype and go straight into X Code.
This was pre-sketchapp.
KN is still the quickest way to mock up UI design and apply simple traditional movements etc.
Presi is more of a dogs dinner than an actual dogs dinner.
