Looks like Sleasyjet - they don't fly in to or out of anywhere that close to a major metropolis. I call fake.
-
• #2831
Nah, it's not fake I don't think.

• #2832
i actually think its a composite

Tell by the pixels?

They fly to Malaga though, and Malaga has a very substantial Old Town, a lot of which is of a similar architecture to that picture. Not that the building pictured is old, just a bit similar, 'tis all.

Barcelona innit ?

Looks like it could be palma. Airport is near enough built-up areas and sleazyjet fly there regularly, to say the least.

Actually, looks like it could be Barcelona... Put this in google maps:
Carrer de Francesc Balcells 6–12
08820 el Prat de Llobregat Catalonia
SpainIt's got to be that area, considering the altitude in the photo.

First one to locate that building gets rep.

Very similar Reddit discussion here:

The height of the plane seems to be no good guide to how close to an airport this is, as it appears to be a composite image.

The height is deceptive. It looks close to the building, but the aircraft isn't configured for imminent landing so it would have to be a few miles from the runway.
If it were taking off, an A319 would almost be out of sight of a medium/wide angle lens (needed to get the building in frame) before it flew over the end of the runway, let alone any buildings.
There's a link in the reddit thread that says it was taken in Naples.

reminds me of scenes from the film tekkonkreet
Not normally a fan of anime's, but this ones pretty damn good with an insanely rich graphic environment. -

Those are drawings? Wow.

Tekonkonkreet is a weird, but awesome film :) Same people created some of the Animatrix episodes too.

They are make ups for when they were pitching the film (I think). the actual film is even richer still, each 'scene' would have taken months to draw up (in 2d elevations of each street/shop/building/object) then stitched together into 3d electronically. Film sort of bridges the gap between stop frame hand drawn and computer animation, its very well done and worth the watch. Soundtrack by PLAID too ;)

On the rare occasion when I do attend training, we do laps of the track going one hand one foot efforts (opposing limbs) and that's hard enough for me. Serious respect!

Wow! never even seen a rider with 2 gone let alone the same aside.
why is this stuff not on tv? its a damn site more inspiring than jeremy kyle or bargain hunt.
Still an interesting picture though. Probably my favourite of the set, the others are a bit toothy for me and I enjoy the look of playful surprise in the eyes.
