i own the shared access too. its 50/50 split shared.
I circled their extended drive in red. ( should've done it in blue)The drive would only fit one car.
Now they have two cars on which blocks me from using the path. -

tried my best to show the extended drive and the black line that crosses over to my side of the land

Sorry to read this. What on earth is in the sales pack?
Thanks dude. They say the estate I'm in is subject to significant arrears which my purchasers may find themselves liable for in the future. I'm especially angry about this for two reasons:
- it isn't true.
- even if it WERE true, our lease is really clear that managing agents MUST take any of their expenses involved in chasing down a debt from the flat in question - they can't on charge it to the whole block in the way these guys are suggesting.
We know this second point because our old managing agent tried to do this several times and they were slapped down by the Tribunal because the lease doesn't allow it.
I think a lot of my anger is directed at myself. I knew how dodgy the agents were, and I suspected they would make some trouble in response to me leading the work to gain our RTM. I should've just waited to sell until we no longer needed to have any engagement with them at all. Not long now at least.
- it isn't true.

I have non but u kinda get it with the land registry snaps?
The lines show my land boundaries.
The line down the middle is where it divides.
the blue line is where they have built over. (to my side) -

So they have laid tarmac up to their boundary over a shared access path? If you can still access the path, what's the issue?

Gubhi: The drive would only fit one car.
Now they have two cars on which blocks me from using the path. -
• #52236
they bricked it all the way past the boundary line

Missed that.

land registry pics are pretty awful quality.
It was drawn up over 70 years ago.
Paid for it via the official website haha damn -

What a nightmare! Haven't the prospective buyers read the lease? I mean it's a legal document so if it says in there they wouldn't be liable...
I take it the current managing agents are moving on?

While they are in more like -
"What are you doing?"
"Oh some prick has left a load of driveway on my property so I'm getting rid" -

no idea. They’ve turned the house into a HMO.
horrid Landlords who think they own everything, sitting at home all day long thinking about what problems to cause because their lives must be so boring.Just go for a cycle if you have nothing better m to do and be kind and courteous to your neighbours haha
It’s hard to talk to them because they’re like internet meme Karen’s, no way to even get a simple point across.
Frustrating mayn. -

They block the drive with cars, they put like broken furniture and random stuff there too. I wanted to take my bins out a couple days ago and there was a broken computer table and a Mercedes car in the way. No way past it. They don’t answer the door to me either. They ignore me haha. They have 1 way mirror windows so they can see me but I can’t see if anyone is in.

Sounds like the only option is to thank them for the new block driveway on the path. And then paint it with bright pink gloss paint with grit thrown into it so it really sticks in there. Then just paint your bit. Only fair.
Seen this kind of crap happen in suburbia a lot, folks just start grabbing extra bits of land, sometimes with consent, just a simple 'hey we are redo the drive, you want in on getting the whole lot to match', 'mind if we go over this bit, will make place look tidier etc'. Instead, you get what you've got next door.

I would put a fence up, along the boundary. I'm not even kidding.
-
• #52248
Yes - I would also. Maybe just a sink a couple of bollards on the boundary so the access to the path is clear but cunty neighbours can't park there.
-
• #52249
That would be an ill-advised move, being entirely illegal if the fence was between their driveway and their half of the shared path.

Nearly 7 tortuous months. I've skirted around the periphery of divorce on multiple occasions. My wife has gone absolutely bonkers. I've called it off and lost my shit big time perhaps more than I should have done.
I'm sleeping in an empty house apart from a mattress on the floor and a cat. My life is in a storage unit.
But finally, finally, I have exchanged.
Provided you can still use the path they're entitled to do so. It looks as though half of the path is on their land, but presumably you have a right of way over that half. They're entitled to do what they like with it as long as it doesn't stop you using the path.
Don't see why not as long as it's still usable.
Edit: misread plan
