The hideous bathroom (which is hideous) looks like a 1930s original though.
Tough choice.

I’d keep the bathroom.

bathroom looks ace.

That kitchen disproportionately enrages me.
I think moderate to high level rage is entirely proportionate. It's a hot, expensive mess.

This addition to the garden was finished this morning.
It’s now going to rain for the next 2 week. Ffs.
I was originally going to do this myself but so glad I ended up paying for it to be done. Finish is much better than I could have achieved.
Just need to get some pots on there now to brighten it up

So middle England. I like it.

Agreed. It's also the only place in our garden that isn't in the sun from 11am to sundown. With the imminent arrival of the tiny one, it'll be nice to be able to sit out there longer.

It's one of the many types of customer you get when fitting kitchens, the "I don't like cooking but do like to throw the type of parties where everyone gathers in the kitchen to discuss how much their house has gone up in value since they bought it" wankers therefore having as much floorspace as possible is essential. If not the main consideration second consideration is having the kitchen look as close as possible to one they saw in last month's cuntry life magazine.

Is it a bus terminal?
-
• #32486
The bus terminals in your ends must be swish af.

What’s wrong with it? The high and low ovens look annoying but I haven’t looked that closely and don’t know anything about kitchen design...
-
• #32488
shaker cabinets are pretty 2012.

Huge - but relatively fuck all counter space. Oven face hidden behind wall when using sink or island. Oven floating on its own a short walk from counter space. Island thing can’t be sat at. Single big sink rather than two separates.
It’s like a spot the deliberate mistake game

The distance you'd have to walk from the fridge to the hob
-
• #32492
Yep, the fridge/hob/sink triangle is fucking awful in that place.
-
• #32493
Seeing how the kitchen would mainly be used by one's servants, none of these points are relevant.
-
• #32494
So much info to absorb... Seems as if it would be better discussed at a party in a large kitchen though.
-
• #32495
Only if you are simultaneously harping on about what a good investment property is though.
-

What howard said,
Also, you'd need a bus pass to walk from fridge to sink to oven to hob - there's no consideration of travel between the key point of prep, cook & clean.
Anything heavy coming out of the oven needs to be hauled across the room.
There's no extractor, and for such a large room, there doesn't seem to be much storage.

Just order Deliveroo

Do they have that in Devon?

What is the kitchen triangle business people are on about? Is there some sort of rules system?
-
• #32500
Make a triangle between the three things you access the most in your kitchen, hob/oven, sink and fridge/larder.
Should be able to move between them quickly and without diversion.
That kitchen disproportionately enrages me.
I mean - for the 20k / 30k spent on it, they could have had it designed by someone that has actually used a kitchen.
