Waltham Forest has done a lot of modal filtering schemes. Filtering itself is a good thing, although they have mostly done it badly (you shouldn't filter side streets at the main street junctions). I'm surprised that your sat nav doesn't have that data yet, as all the schemes have been in for some time.

Where in Walthamstow are Charlton, Greenwich or Blackheath? I don't understand.

Not sure if it’s already been said but you can make a fantastic home out of almost any space but you can’t move it to where you want / need to be.
That house you linked is incredible but it’s stuck there forever.
You can buy a pretty ordinary space which is closer to a decent connection and make it great...

I guess if they've been trying to call Charlton 'Greenwich East' then it's South-Walthamstow-South-below-Thames.
And I look forward to Blackheath's imminent rebranding as South-Walthamstow-South-below-Thames-on-the-hill

Ah yes, Walthamstow is spreading and will probably soon reach the outskirts of Southampton.

In the last week?
I'm likely to not remember anything past that. -

Nah just when I told you we were moving to West Norwood. You were all like 'why not Sydenham bro'.

fingers crossed. -

Yes. But that's only if it's all boys. And they're all privately educated. And they all have jolly hockeysticks attitudes.
And they're all thinly veiled characterisations of "bad men" in the world. -
• #29518
That's our kids, right?
-
• #29519
So apropos Dulwich College then
-
• #29520
Oh yeah. Mine are totally like that.
-
• #29521
Hilariously, I remember seeing a kid running around with a sword a couple of years ago.
At Dulwich College. I think it was from the private bus to the school. But still.
Why can't we all run around with swords? -
• #29522
How much do we think the lease extension is going to be?
-
• #29523
Roughly £4-5 million.
-
• #29524
Effectively £12.3k/mo rent (inc stamp duty), that's cheaper than some similar rental properties in the area:-
£19k/mo 5 bed a few streets away: https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-to-rent/property-75901952.html

Where you from in Norfolk?
I ended up with Charlton (assuming nothing falls through)
Been fairly settled in Greenwich for a while but can't afford paying for this there or in Blackheath
