Can you talk to the surveyor to understand what noise was heard? I have to say this would be a big red flag for me as someone who is not hugely tolerant of noise.

Worth just loitering around at different times of day to check out whether there’s some dick nearby who is partial to loud techno each and every evening until 11pm. These cunts do exist and you don’t want to exist near them.

That's true I get that. The estate agent asked the vendor if we could have free roam of the property for 1 hour, but he refused. That's a bit concerning.
