• Such a sweet bike! Is the seat stay deliberately masking the WaC sticker in the top photo rik? ;)
I claim full responsibility for the placing of that sticker. It at least sounds like something I'd have done.

Seriously love this frame. If only I was in the market for more bikes.

  • i flippin love this bike, if only i was a little bit taller!

how tall are you alex, i have a memory of last time i saw you at wests you being on a small bit taller than me, but i suspect i might have been sating on a kerb while you were in the gutter....

    Ha . . I would love to say i am 6ft, but the reality is that i am 5ft11 and 3/4 !

  • N+1, object, N+1

  • Seriously love this frame. If only I was in the market for more bikes.

Dont you live in a Warehouse? then whats your excuse? keep it in the family and all that.....

    N+1 indeed.

  • don't need the durace, but i want it. it's so lovely. did you ever use it rik?

  • Ha . . I would love to say i am 6ft, but the reality is that i am 5ft11 and 3/4 !

Rather unfortunately i believe you must have been standing in the gutter.

  • N+1
You're both missing the rest of that equation.
    **
    N+1=x+y-z>x=(N-1)(z-y)**

Where n is equal to the number of bikes you own, x is equal to satisfaction in life, y is equal to storage space and z is equal requirement of cash monies.

  • But back to the matter in hand. Someone should snap this up, it's stunning.

  • And a bargain.

  • sent a PM and crossed my fingers...here's to hoping!

at the risk of suffering a massive flaming and pissing rik off to the point where he refuses to sell it to me, and only because i've heard of people doing it before...would it be sacrilege to remove the braze ons and put track ends on...obviously all professionally as i would never really want to rns gears or would it simply not be worth it

  • oh and dibs...althought this does seem somewhat above that

  • would it be sacrilege to remove the braze ons and put track ends on...

    yes.

and i say this despite generally not getting too het up when it comes to puppy killing, but i have a bit of a thing for Aende frames, and that would just not be right.

dammit, why am I not just that little bit longer in leg/arm...

  • i thought as much, stil want the frame tho, been looking for a lo-pro this size for a while

  • yes.

+1 to this (although to be honest it would be your bike, and you should do what you want with it...).

Although I do think that it should be sold with a proviso when the time comes to resell, it is passed on to someone on this forum. It can be like an heirloom :)

  • don't need the durace, but i want it. it's so lovely. did you ever use it rik?

I been thinking in keep it and hang it in the living room, until you have it in your hands you dont realise how beautiful it is
One of the nicest wheels ever made IMHO

when I was in the market for a lo-pro my idea was to take the braze-ons and to put track dropouts, like you say, but when this one came along I could't get myself to do it, the paint jobs is such an amzing thing that didn't wnat to touch it

If at then end you end up with the bike and decide to do it, do it right, because if not I lot of people will put your name in their black lists
