Fuck me. It looks quite a substantial slab of book there! What's the quality like? Does it feel different to an 'ordinary' book?

I was surprised by the weight too. It's a definitely a proper book.

Comparison-wise: The cover is a bit less substantial than most and looks a little more closely cropped than the ebook cover photo. Pages are very white.
How did you submit your copy to Lulu? Did they look after the formatting?

Yeah, I checked back and the cropping on the cover picture is definitely tighter, pushing the text a little close to the edges.
If they are printing them to order are you able to alter your artwork without further cost??
I know there would be a lot of people, myself included, who would be happy to help out for free, to make this the best it can be.

I'm responsible for all formatting, page layout, design, the lot. Lulu give you access to software to manage this but that's about it!

I'll tweak the design to center it up a bit better.

As it happens, Sparky's copy has thumped onto my doorstep, so I get to have a grope of a copy in the flesh!

I'm tempted to stick a few pages together with my own special 'glue'.

Shipping confirmation received, I haven't been this happy since I discovered that huffing chalk dust laced with MSG produced a euphoric bliss akin to injecting cake into my ball sack.

My copy just arrived at work. Really nice quality; heavier stock than I was expecting. The only thing is that the covers are quite pixelated. Not sure if that is because of the original image or the quality of the print...

Incidentally, by the end of next week Pantone Blues will be available on Amazon in paperback too. They've tried to get me to bump the price up for this, but I've discounted it to keep it almost the same price.
