I got one of these
http://www.rohan.co.uk/Product/Detail/MensWaterproofs_03043?ocode=03043165
It is astonishing and does everything you suggested, but for the rear pocket. They do a ladies specific one but not in black
They do a more cycling specific one, but it doesn't have a hood, but does have a rear pocket. I am really impressed, extremely breathable and so far waterproof. I have been out a lot in it of late, not a drop has got in
They have a shop in Covent garden. -

possibly not in an agressive enough position. my knees are mm away from my bottom ribs when in the drops, so a front pocket will just sag down and get hit too often
if you have mudguards why the arseflap?
-

Wow that women's Rohan one is incredibly pink. I shall go investigate; they look pretty hardcore.
Arse flap is extra protection against work clothes mudstripe, which is why it's desirable but not essential.

That does not look like it's going to pack down into its own stuffsack, but you get points for ticking most of the boxes.
Now I just need to save up for a year.

A front breast pocket is unlikely to hit your knees.
I agree with James re the stuffsack. I think you are unlikely to find something with all those features which comes with one.
Have you looked at the dhb range? Admittedly it is not very high brow, but their stuff seems to tick a lot of the boxes, i.e. http://www.wiggle.co.uk/dhb-eq25-waterproof-cycling-jacket/
For long rides (rather than all-purpose commuting) I've really liked my two Campagnolo jackets. One which I've lost. They always seem to have the right features and are cut specifically for cycling.

billowing hood
but it looks like a winner for tricksybender

Removable snap-off billowing hood.

just bought a stealth, awesome jacket
Endura? If so, I wasn't impressed by it's long term durability. I never use biological wash or fabric softener so losing it's waterproofing along with the printed graphics and text was poor.

My Gore and Corinne Dennis both had all those features bar the hood, but the Gore leaks and I broke the zip on the Corinne Dennis.
That Campag one's nice. But would be much nicer with moar pockets. I have had too many tantrums on my doorstep trying to get keys out of rear pockets in the pouring rain.

I loved my Orion, sold it because I lost too much weight and the medium is too big.
Try them out at Tokyo Fixed or Condor.

This is a very nice jacket. If it got lost however, you would spend an eternity in Sports Direct, depressed and lingering near the camping equipment. Slumped on Airwalk boxes like someone who mistook Sports Direct for JD Wetherspoons.

That's how I spend my weekends anyway.

Just ordered a Vulpine Harrington jacket. Looking forward to it very much, it seems like a great company too. Will keep you posted...

You should have waited a couple of hours, there is 20% off after midnight for one day only.

Recommendations for a jacket thats warm and shower proof (doesn't need to be heavy rain proof) will be for riding but also off bike... nothing overly expensive as its for christmas probably around the 100 mark

Yeah, I got that email not long after I ordered....brilliant timing fro me there! Vulpine we're more than generous to me though.
The jacket is brilliant. I haven't had chance to use it in the rain yet, but the quality and fit are superb.

I'm after a jacket that
...
Any suggestions?Didn't someone (DJ maybe) have a jacket made for them by a UK company?
If you've got uber specific tastes it might be the way to go.

thanks guys, does anywhere in the UK stock swrve? or online only?
-
• #574
Siempre Café Bar in Glasgow stock them. I'm sure you can find a list of stockists on their website.

Tokyo Fixed
I think I might just give up riding in the rain instead.
