bot sure if anyone on the forum'll be interested, but before i ebay it, first dibs to the tune ... MCS 24" cruiser ..frame stripped back to polished Aluminium .. pretty much as it came outa the box about 6 years ago ... very little use, mostly commuting... a few scratches ... no dings ...black anodising worn off the rims
it was actually a pretty serious cruiser in its day ... think i paid about £350 for it and had to wait like 6 weeks for it to be imported from the states.
.. heres a test report
http://mcsbicycles.com/joom/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=121&Itemid=1and heres what it originally looked like .. (although he's tricked it out a bit with some nice cranks)
http://www.bmxtalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=28476i've returned it to its stock format, ie removed the front brake, cos I'm selling it as a bmx.
oh yeah its running a 20T freewheel for polo at the mo, the original 17T freewheel cog is here, or theres a 18T track cog for the suicide fit.how much ... not too sure, but the plan is to use the cash against some sexy 700c wheels in future (or a 700/650 combo) ... but i'd probably put a reserve of £50 or £60 notes on ebay
..... or maybe just a straight swap for some trick wheels ... whatever.... in case you dont know what it looks like, here she is

Does anyone have a front wheel for sale? My mates after a new one since buckling his.
Cheaper the better, if it comes with an innertube and tyre that would be super. -
• #334

-
• #335

Trying to cut down on the amount of bikes I own so this is gonna have to go:
Sold as shown, make me an offer. My mates interested in buying this, how much are you looking for roughly?
What size is the frame?
Is the rear hub fixed/fixed or fixed/free? -
• #339
Not sure how much to ask really. It's a 57cm frame if I remember rightly built with fixed/free rear hub.

Hi, I'm Fone's mate who's interested in the bike. Honestly have no idea how much is expected but I'm trying to get a bike put together for cheap. Would £100 be ok?

Tempted Nige but look a bit small for me
-

they're both 21" frames, so maybe too small for you matt .... i don't think they're all that old either ... folks were still building these kinda things up till the early eighties ... and i bet the geometry hasn't changed at all since the early fifties, so it may not be the perky, quirky polo bike i think it should be ... i'll keep watching it anyway

never mind polo, its the perfect pipe smoking, tweed wearing, monocle rocking cruiser bike.
the kind i image this chap would ride.

I've got 52p and half a pack hobnobs?
Rear Wheel is a Zenith fixed/free hub laced to a Mavic Ardennes rim, it'll need truing properly like. The front is a old shimano 105 hub laced to the same type of rim. And also have a oldish 105 hub laced to a Mavic MA2 rim.
Edit: Should also say the frame is a 57cm and I also have a MTB and Road bike for sale too.
