    Sell a kidney...

Yeah, been collecting bits for a new build for a while. Frame arrived today so hopefully will be rolling by the weekend...

  • What you got? Photos when it's built yes!!

  • Does anyone know of any online retailer based in the UK (Other than Kinoko Cycles / Tokyo Fixed) who stock T-Level bags? I'm 99% buying a second hand one on Friday but just wanted to double check what was available beforehand.

  • Think they're about the only ones.Thats where I got mine from and they seem to stock the whole range.

  • All the "nice" colours are out of stock. I'm just still torn between the Infinity and the Challenger. I can get the Infinity fofrom the guy you linked me to, or a brand new Challenger for the same.

    what to do!?!?!?

  • I'd get the Infinity, not because it's necessarily better (because in truth I've never seen a Challenger in the flesh) but because it's the biggest/most expensive. Psychologically, I know if I bought the smaller bag, I'd end up wishing I got the bigger one. Wor lass got me the Blue & Red one for my birthday and it really feels like a bag for life (not the supermarket type!). Got knocked off my bike whilst I had it on the other day. Shit myself thinking it would have probably ended up with a hole in it but luckily it was fine.

  • I'm leaning more towards the Infinity tbf. It's 31L rolled down and 42L max, The challenger is 32L. The rolltop gives me a lot more to play with and could pretty much double as a suitcase if ever needed haha. Plus, it's black and i'm a goth.

  • Yeh thats the best bit is that it can be normal sized or bigger if you need. You can use it as carry on luggage on a plane and with the rolltop up I've had a big shop in mine!

  • Alright guys, I know some of this stuff isn't really your style but I might as well give it a go:

First is a FSA Gimondi single crankset. This hasn't even been fitted to a bike and is still in its original box. The cheapest I can find this is £60, so how does £45 sound?

Next is a 3TTT Competitzione handlebar NOS. Can't remember exactly what size stem it'll need but given it's an old Italian one I'd hazard a guess at 26mm. Again, hasn't even been fitted to a bike and i bought them for about £35 new. I'm looking for £20.

Next up is a set of Shimano M424 pedals. These work with mountain-bike style SPDs, but have the advantage of the external cage for use with normal shoes. Again, in used condition and I think one of the dust covers is missing but still usable. £10 for the pair?

I have a Campagnolo Mirage 9 speed rear derailleur. It was in good working order when I had it fitted to one of my older bikes, but I don't really know much about campag stuff, and it might need a bit of TLC. I'm looking for £20

This is a cheap Shimano road derailleur, looks to be a 2-speed. The model number is FD-2200. The first £5 can have it, should be adequate for a starter bike.

I also have a pair of Scott Tour SPD-SL shoes for sale, as I just can't get on with the whole clipless thing. I have used these for maybe 30 miles, but the bottom of the right shoes is scuffed from poor clipping in efforts. I paid about £75 for these new, and they aren't even broken in yet; I'll take £40 for them, and I'll even leave the cleats on there for you

Last, and probably least, is an old chainset I pulled off a bike. It has a bottom bracket included (square taper) and a shimano chainring 52T. It'll do for a basic/old setup, and seemed stiff enough. I'll take £5 for it.

I can meet you anywhere local; I live in Heaton at the mo.

I am not completely against moving on price, but I think the stuff is already pretty well priced

    Cheers

  • Size might be useful on the shoes!

  • Looks like an eu 45
    About a 9.5/10 UK I think.

  • Ahhh shit. Was looking on my phone so the picture wasn't that great. Apologies!

  • I've got a fork from a Raleigh Team Banana going for free. The frame cracked but I salvaged the fork and headset. Anyone on here want them as spares before I freecycle?

  • I'll happily take the forks if you still have them. Im not back in newcastle until monday so if you need rid beforehand feel free to offer them elsewhere

  • No worries. Just PM me when you want to pick up.
