Good plan Phil.
Need for polo bike:
Saddle. Can be pretty much anything, any condition, although preferably fitting in with the tasteful black/silver/rust/duck-egg blue colour scheme.
Front brake. Haven't measured the drop but it's about as small as it gets. Allen fitting.

Matt I've got both of those. Got two pretty decent / adustable brakes (well, the pads are, you know).
You after whole brake, just caliper / lever, etc ?
I've 2 good black seats and one white one, which is a bit scuffed but cool...

Need money faster so I put all my stuff to the main forum now. Look here: http://www.londonfgss.com/thread31257.html
I'd still prefer Newcastle sales.

I'm looking for a 19tooth sprocket for a fixed hub, need to drop down those GI's.
I fancy a spinny ride, not as spinny as phil's though :P
I know a few who would be interested, I'll point them towards here. -
• #11
thanks ant, did you get your dropouts sorted? im looking for a 19t sprocket too actually.
62gi isnt really that spinny, im sure i used to play polo on 22x20
-
• #12
Yea yea I got them sorted, ended up filing the axels down, the frame was just too hard for my files.
Got the rear wheel on now, went down to Recyke earlier, hired a bench out and swapped my sprocket over, bought a new tube and tyre and I was away.
Looking good now but I still need to sort my bottom bracket out. It's got the wobbles again.
Just gotta wait till Nick is in with his Strong-Light crank remover.Would you say that learning to do track stands are easier to do on a lower gear? I'm struggling and I was wondering if it was down to my 50/14?

ill remind nick to bring in the extractor on tuesday when im in.
took me ages to learn to trackstand on 42x16. i think a tight chain and solid bb help more

Pretty much need everything minus the wheels. A complete old racer would be perfect. -

**Anyone got an old set of forks ? Inch steerer, steerers gotta be quite long... mine are bent and I've been riding them months, I'm starting to have thoughts of teeth loss now though.
Recyk y Bike ?**
Just trying this out, there isn't really a thread for people to buy and sell stuff locally.
I'll start;
WANTED:
BMX stem, don't mind if its mint or not, just needs to work and be cheap. Usual 22.2mm clamp, 1 1/8th steerer.
